Cannot depend on customer support! It's now been three weeks since reporting air conditioning problems with my 2010 CRV. I only have 75,000 miles on this vehicle. I had purchased an e It's now been three weeks since reporting air conditioning problems with my 2010 CRV. I only have 75,000 miles on this vehicle. I had purchased an extended warranty for $2100 when I bought this vehicle...only to find out that I was a month past my warranty expiration when I reported this problem . Also, apparently there was a shop notification issued and then re-issued years later, about air-conditioning clutch problems...and I was only a month beyond the expiration of that shop notification... which shows they had been experiencing air conditioning clutch problems right from the beginning. Mind you I never put in a claim for anything on the warranty at all. When I asked the Hoffman Honda people if there was any way they could work with me on this to reduce my exposure to the cost, being that it was only one month past the expiration. I was shuttled from here to there, I called supervisors I called the office of the president of Hoffman, etc. etc. only to be told that basically it was a month past warrantee and there was nothing that could be done. So much for working with their customers so much for support for the customers so much for all the promises that are made in advertising . Oh, and did I mention that I have purchased two Hondas from the Avon dealership over the past several years? If this is the way customers are treated, then I have no desire to go back or to tell my business associates and friends to go to Hoffman because you cannot count on them to do do the right thing for their customers. To be clear, my dissatisfaction is not with Tony Audia and Susan Lane who did all they could to be of help, nor the sales staff in general. Ken Green a very dissatisfied Hoffman customer. More
