Good Service - Horrible "requests for review" I really like my Honda Pilot auto - This is the third one I have purchased. All from the same dealer - Hoffman Honda. Service Engine Light I brought my car in for break work on June 4th. Check engine light was on, it was recommended I get the diagnostic check to see what the issue was. I brought my car in for break work on June 4th. Check engine light was on, it was recommended I get the diagnostic check to see what the issue was. I agreed. I was told it would be an additional $600 to get the "issue" fixed so I did (after plunking down another $600 for breaks). Picked up my car, next day check engine light goes back on. Frustrated but understanding, I called Janetta right away to see what can be done. We set up another appointment on June 10th. She called me a couple of hours later stating they fixed the issue so I went back to pick up the car. I asked what was the issue and she said the computer found another issue this time. I asked why this wasn't picked up the first time and she said, "things could've changed." In one week? Anyways, no charge so I left. The next day my check engine light went on AGAIN. Now I'm not thrilled. I'm not sure what I spend $600 on and two trips in and it's not fixed. Now I have to schedule again and I'm pretty busy so it's a hassle. I also need to get my admissions done this week and that's causing another issue. I'm really dissatisfied here and honestly feel like I paid $600 for nothing as I've had no issues prior. I expect a call to make this right. I want to add that Janetta is very courteous and has great follow-up. Not sure where the blame here is but, from an actual customer service side, she's done fine. I'm just not sure where the disconnect is. More
