This is actually the second vehicle I've purchased from Hoffman Ford and both experiences were excellent. So far as dealerships for service, this dealership is okay. The service department wants to offer you, or me as a woman, unneeded service, such as oil change on a vehicle that I brought in for routine in okay. The service department wants to offer you, or me as a woman, unneeded service, such as oil change on a vehicle that I brought in for routine inspection and emissions when THIS dealership service department had just done that less than 900 miles before this visit. You must be firm in refusing service that is unneeded. I rated everything as OK because it was just that, okay. Nothing stands out; not hard to tell them 'no' you don't want an extra service they are offering; free coffee and softdrinks while you wait; waiting room somewhat clean. It is okay service but better than the alternatives. More
I called for an appointment for my car to be inspected and the oil changed. I was told by Adam that he could fit me in the next day. He would do it in the morning. I told him I needed the car by 2PM. The car wasnt even in then. He told me it would be very soon. I called at 3PM. The car was not being worked on again. He said he was very busy with other cars. I asked him when he could have it ready. He said maybe by six. I called his supervisor and he said he could get it ready by 5:15 at the latest. We'll see. If it is not ready, I will let you all know, But DO NOT EXPECT GOOD OF EVEN FAIR SERVICE FROM HOFFMAN. More

After a less-than-satisfied experience at another dealer, I (reluctantly) went to Hoffman, unsure if I was ready to go through this again. Mike was very friendly and gave me all the information on the car, was very honest with me when comparing two cars I was looking at. He answered all my questions and wasn't pushy. When it came time to speak to Billy and discuss the cost, he was more than willing to give a nice discount on the asking price. I felt they genuinely wanted to make sure I found what "I" was happy with and had all the features I was looking for. After returning the next day to finalize paperwork, Mike even spent time speaking to my 23 year old daughter about the best way for her to get her first car on little credit. We plan to come back in a few months to get her a car and for me to collect my $200 referral incentive!! I would highly recommend Hoffman Ford and won't go anywhere else for our future car needs! I have one point that I'm not getting satisfaction after my 2nd oil change at Hoffman Ford. I asked Lynn what kind of oil is put in the car for a typical oil change service. (I would expect a upper quality product.) She said that Hoffman offers Mobil-1 fully synthetic also, for a higher price. I asked the recommended oil change intervals. She replied that 5000-7000 miles for their regular oil change and 7000-10000 miles for the Mobil-1. When I received my car each time, the windshield sticker says 3000 miles, hand written. 3000 mile interval seems excessive. Please explain Hoffman's policy and this descrepency.
