Hoffman Ford dealer scheduled me on the same day and fixed the valve at no charge since my car is still on warranty. They also addressed the recall issue. The service was excellent, and I did not have to wait very long. Janetta Marrero was very professional and congenial. Got the car I wanted at the price I wanted My Experience here came in 3 parts..... Part 1---test drive with Ed Carpenter. Ed was professional, friendly, got the car I wanted ready quickly (I My Experience here came in 3 parts..... Part 1---test drive with Ed Carpenter. Ed was professional, friendly, got the car I wanted ready quickly (It was buried behind 2 other cars in snow and ice and it was 15 degrees and windy). Ed was knowledgeable, helpful and negotiated with me to get me the price I wanted. I really enjoyed working with him and would recommend Hoffman again just because of my interaction with Ed. Part 2---Financing was and odd experience. We were first offered a loan at 19.99% to which I put my coat on and walked out the door. In about 30 seconds he said " I can give you 12.99%--to which I said "Why wouldn't you offer me that the first time around instead of thinking I was a desperate sucker who would agree to anything and sign on the dotted line. Fran---the business manager was a little harsh with his words and blaming me for the situation. Really? I told him I can go anywhere to buy a car or get a loan--I don't have to stay here. We could not come to agreement that night--everyone was kind of grumpy and tired and hungry, Fran had a dinner date to get to so he wanted to wrap things up. As much as I planned on driving out in my newly purchase car that night...I chose to walk away and spend a night thinking about what happened and whether I wanted to buy from a dealer like this. This had nothing to do with Ed Carpenter who was excellent even when this sort of bait and switch financing deal was going on. There is a happy ending to this storty..... Part 3. Next day---Cooler heads prevailed and Fran came through with 8.99% and good deal on the 48,000 mile warranty I wanted. In the end Fran did a great job and worked extra hard to get me what I wanted. I we could have skipped over the attempt to get 19.99% or 12.99% out me and gone right to 8.99% I would have driven out Friday night with out have a slightly tainted feeling about dealing with Hoffman. Like I said---in the end Ed and Fran somehow managed to pull together the deal I wanted for the car I wanted and took extra good care to make sure they made things right. And because of that---that is the part that I will remember and share with friends. I will recommend Hoffman Ford but would caution people to not just accept the first finance offer they throw at you. I was born at night--but not last night and I am smarter than the average bear. I expect that when I am spending $10,000+ with you that I get treated like you want me to stay and maybe even come back! More

When I discovered the car I had initially priced did not come with the incentives I had hoped for, Bryce sought out a similar model that qualified for the maximum incentives and most advantageous financing. I felt that their priority was to help me reach my goal rather than just make a sale. Their priority was supporting my goals. Bryce made sure that I was fully informed at every step. He was helpful and cheerful and patient. Mike W. spent plenty of time to make the steps of buying: finance, insurance, registration, demonstrating the features of the car…as simple and painless as possible.They returned my calls and made time to help me at each step of the process. When I contacted Charlie Hartley, commercial truck manager at Hoffman Ford, he genuinely wanted my business and we were quickly able to come to an agreement on price. Charlie made every effort to make sure my experience at Hoffman was excellent from test drives, options, service discussions and a walk through on pick up. The vehicle was well prepped and he took care of several items I had requested prior to delivery. I also worked with Fran Marinaro in the financing department who was also very professional and efficient. I would highly recommend Hoffman to anyone looking for a new Ford and a great experience.
