Noise issue unresolved. I took my car in for a service and pointed out a noise issue earlier in the year. The guys at ford were unable to hear it. This last time I brought it in and put the rear seats down and windows up and asked them to drive at 30mph and this time they heard the noise. They diagnosed differential bearings and ordered parts. They kept for three days in total, over the weekend. They called and loaned me a Lincoln MKC which was outstanding and has me thinking about a trade in when I can afford it. Picked up the car Monday afternoon. Kristen relayed that the technician thought it was due to an aftermarket pan hard rod but said the issue is resolved. I drove the car home and the noise is still there, in fact it's more evident than before. It also cannot be a fixed part like a pan hard rod as the noise escalated at the same rate as the increased speed of the driveshaft spinning. It has to be a u joint or something in the driveshaft. I have been traveling for work this week and have not had a chance to reschedule. I am time poor and trying to remedy this has already taken two separate visits. I will try and make time in the coming week to make a third attempt to get this resolved. All in all the professionalism of Kristin and the people I dealt with was great - just frustrated that my car with 19K miles has driveshaft noise that is taking this much time and effort to get resolved. More

customer service OK Brought car in for (3) separate repairs now, all considered manufacturer warranty repairs. 2 repairs required parts and both times it took almost (2) Brought car in for (3) separate repairs now, all considered manufacturer warranty repairs. 2 repairs required parts and both times it took almost (2) weeks to get the required parts from Ford. Not sure why it takes so long to get parts and/or why parts can be expedited from Ford? For one repair, they kept the car and provided me with a rental (not a Ford loaner, but a crappy, far less quality non-Ford rental). Not once have I ever been offered a Ford loaner vehicle, but always have to wait for their shuttle to bring me back and forth to work. Appreciated, but never felt like this dealer (or Ford Motor Corp. for that matter) have ever attempted to go above and beyond for me for warranty issues that I shouldn't have to deal with to begin with. Although I like my car, I'm not sure I would do this again based on experiences to date. I hear (and read) great reviews from other car manufacturers and dealers that make me think I should look elsewhere next time....NOTE: this review is not specific to/for any individual Service Manager - I respect the jobs they do. My 'average' rating are with Ford and Hoffman in general. More
