To my surprise, a young gentleman - Freddy Calderon provided my with more than outstanding service. That was followed by a late evening (8:40pm on Monday 12/21/15) phone call from Frankie Zanin, subsequent short visit on 12/22/15 to briefly speak with Freddie - and the deal was done! Painless experience. Professional, courteous and friendly people I dealt with. Professional, friendly atmosphere maintained throughout the dealership. Highly recommend Hoffman Ford / Lincoln. More
Completely disappointed - lost customer The Hoffman service department does NOTHING to support the consumer with service issues. Total and complete disappointment. I had an original issue The Hoffman service department does NOTHING to support the consumer with service issues. Total and complete disappointment. I had an original issue with the Ford SYNC GPS back in 2014 when I first purchased the vehicle from Hoffman, after ZERO results to fix or correct the issue. I recently had my Traction Control Disable light come on during the first snowfall of 2015, and when I went to Hoffman to check out what was wrong, the service department said they couldn't find any codes or why it wouldn't work. They blamed the issue on the snow tires - so the Edge Sport with the 22" Pirelli ties that will NOT in the snow, will also NOT work with FORD EDGE Factory snow tires - FORD makes and sells a $48,000 All Wheel Drive CUV that is un-driveable in CT from October to April, and Hoffman has a service department that does little to nothing to resolve the issue. How did anyone ever fix a car before there were "CODES" in the first place? Possibly test drive the car, listen to the customer - heck research the issue on the internet - I found a ton of stuff that pertains to the AWD/ABS disable light that involved broken throttle position sensors - the service dept didn't take 5 minutes to even look. This purchase has been a technical disappointment from FORD (the electronics have had too many faults) as well as a total Customer Service Failure from Hoffman. The service rep, Jason, must believe the customer is a total idiot based on the answers he gave as to the cause of the faults. More

From the moment we arrived to the moment we drove off the lot with our new Ford Explorer they made sure everything ran smooth and ensured we knew all of the vehicle options that fit our particular situation. Bryce worked closely with us to make sure there were options available that fit our needs he didn't hesitate explain that if there wasn't a vehicle that fit our needs / situation that they would find one for us. Freddy demonstrated a new Explorer Limited and a Ford Fusion SE he explained all of the incentives, rebates and vehicle options clearly on the the test drive and helped us with the application process as well as adding the new vehicle to our insurance, obtaining current payoff information for our trade. Jason Grant acquainted Familiarized us with our new vehicle and asissted us with syncing my phone to our new Ford Explorer. Fran Mariano made sure that we knew all of the financing options and optional services/insurance available to add in if we wanted additional coverage and vehicle protection. More importantly Fran made sure we were comfortable with the payment since it was a higher payment and he didn't make us feel pressured or obligated in our decision. The team at Hoffman Ford of East Hartford was responsive, respectful and proactive to our needs. Thay also worked fast and kept us well informed throughout the buying process. We are very happy with our experience at Hoffman Ford and equally happy with the new Ford Explorer we purchased from this team! I would highly recommend this team of professionals!! More

Apothetic and incompetent I factory ordered an F150 Platinum. The price was right and I received good financing. However, the truck came without the keypad code, and the serv I factory ordered an F150 Platinum. The price was right and I received good financing. However, the truck came without the keypad code, and the service department had no idea how to obtain it. They provided me with incorrect information regarding the diagnostic computer. Then gave me instructions for retrieving it in a keyed vehicle (it's a push button start). Then told me I'd have to pay for it. I went elsewhere and paid 50 dollars to have it retrieved with a diagnostic computer. Everyone I spoke to was unprofessional and rude. As evident they also lack the knowledge to do their job. More

My experience with everybody at Hoffman, especially Freddy Calderon, was absolutely wonderful!!! He took the time to answer all our questions, phone calls, and text messages. He went out of his way to help us find a balance between price and features and he did it without being aggressive. He was very knowledgable but if he didn't know the answer to a question he was honest. Instead of finessing an answer he took the time to find the information and got back to us very quickly. I really respected that! Someone once told me, "It doesn't matter how nice a car dealer is. Your not buying the dealer, your buying the car." This is true but finding the right dealer makes a huge difference. We did our research. We shopped around. But the quality, price, and service at Hoffman was undeniable. Thank you to Hoffman and Freddy for a great car buying experience! More

He offered various solutions to the roadblocks I faced with other dealerships, making sure I was at complete ease every step of the way during my decision making process and when he finally presented me a deal I could not refuse on a vehicle I could not say no to, both he and his staff made sure that I felt like a part of the Hoffman family, we talked, we laughed and we even shared some lunch, when the deal was done later that same day and I drove my new vehicle off the lot I finally realized why Hoffman is Driven by Trust. A very specially thanks to Freddy Calderon, Dave Dickinson, Kevin with the management team and the very lovely young lady at the front desk, whose name I can't remember but whose smile I'll never forget.
