I spoke with our service manager, Elliot Matos, and he informed me that as a result of the repair requiring the bumper to be removed, the additional labor impacted the cost. We will always seek approval of our customers prior to performing any work and will explain the cost and time involved in order to allow you to make an informed decision. Because we want to ensure you are fully satisfied, we will gladly replace another light free of charge should one go out in the future that does not require this level of intense labor. It is important that our customers feel valued and respected and we sincerely appreciate that you chose Hoffman Audi of East Hartford for your service needs. I have been made aware from our Service Manager, Elliot Matos, we had a misunderstanding when one of our Service Valets met you. We are truly sorry for the confusion, our valet thought they were being helpful by directing you to another drive. Due to the fact that we have four service drives in East Hartford, we commonly have customers who pull into the wrong drive and our valets direct them to the correct one. After they learned you had purchased your vehicle at our Audi store our service writer, Olivia Roy, took care of you. Your oil change was free but unfortunately we do not have the ability to reset your service light. Only an Acura dealer can perform this service. Both Mr. Matos and our sales manager, Tony Shaskus are willing to take care of the charge, if any, to have an Acura dealer reset your light. Both managers were under the impression that you were satisfied and genuinely happy upon leaving. Because your experience is extremely important to us at Hoffman please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you.
