Hello PB, We sincerely apologize for the frustration you experienced during your recent experience with our sales department. It is important that you feel valued and respected and we appreciate that Hoffman Audi of East Hartford is your dealership of choice. We agree it is important that your new car looks beautiful when you take delivery. I spoke to our sales manager Tony Shaskus and he informed me that you were thrilled when you originally left with your vehicle. A day or two later you returned during the day saying that you noticed the car is covered in scratches. Mr. Shaskus understood your concern but could not see the scratches you were referring to. When you returned the following day with a black light Mr. Shaskus could see microscopic swirl marks when looking very closely. We had our specialized vendor, Dr. Detail, buff your vehicle with a new buffing bonnet; however we are aware you’re not satisfied with the result. Our team has spoken to another vendor who has informed us in order to perform what is required to remove the microscopic swirls will be both expensive and time intensive and it still may not be perfect. We agree with Audi of North America and would be happy to revisit your options if the marks darken. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you.
