Hodges Mazda - Service Center

We brought our CX-5 in to have the brakes replaced. When we picked up our car, the brakes were making a terrible noise, so we returned the same day. They told us that the technician did not put the cl When we picked up our car, the brakes were making a terrible noise, so we returned the same day. They told us that the technician did not put the clips on correctly. They fixed it right away. After a few days, we noticed a loud squealing noise as we backed up the car. So we returned and asked them to look at the brakes again. When we went to pick up the car, they said the brakes were fine and they confirmed everything was working properly and was properly lubricated. So we left feeling everything was fixed. Unfortunately, once again, the brake squealing continued as we were backing up. So, I called on a Thursday to make an appointment for Saturday at 10am. Went to drop the car off on Friday night. It was then that they told me the car would not get looked at on Saturday as they only have half their staff working and they focus on oil changes and tires rotations. I was not happy, but was okay as long as the brake issue would be fixed on Monday. I called on Monday at 4pm only to learn that they had not even looked at the car. I could not believe it. They apologized and promised me that their best man was going to look at it on Tuesday. When I called on Tuesday, they told me that there was nothing wrong with the brakes and that the squealing was a know issue with these new brake pads. So, why did they not tell us this after we returned the first time with the squealing issue. Of course, they had no answer for that question. Go to Hodges Mazda for service at your own risk! More
