No hard sell, no-haggle pricing was a nice surprise. Salesman Shepard Raines was great showing us all the features. Even let us take a test drive (CX-5) without him tagging along. We took a week to compare other makes and dealers, there was no comparison. We bought from him and totally recommend Shepard to help you find the perfect Mazda for you. More

The reason I have rated Duval Mazda with 5's across the board is that service was excellent and the transaction was processed in a reasonable time frame. board is that service was excellent and the transaction was processed in a reasonable time frame. More
I had done business with Duval Mazda exclusively for a few years with just basic oil changes etc. Just last month my car had trouble so I brought it in to Duval Mazda. Luckily I got a call from Kevin few years with just basic oil changes etc. Just last month my car had trouble so I brought it in to Duval Mazda. Luckily I got a call from Kevin saying the problems were covered under the extended warranty. When the car was ready I got a call from Kevin stating I could pick up the car... Once I pay. Since when is a companies policy to say they will honor a warranty only to require you to pay in full before leaving the dealership? Condescendingly, Kevin stated that he would go against company policy just to make me happy. My experience with Kevin goes beyond these passive-aggressive statements. In short I have never been forced to jump through so many hoops as I have with Kevin. Nor have I found myself feeling so frustrated in dealing with a customer service writer. In fact I'vea often found my experience with service writers to be very accommodating and pleasant. The exception is with Duval Mazda. Roughly a month later I brought the car in for an oil change and to get some noises checked out. Their suggestions led to a "would be" over $3000.00 in repairs. I declined, got a second opinion from a local and trusted mechanic who... Looked at all the issues that were brought up from Duval Mazda. serpentine belt tensioner, fuel pump: lock ring and gasket: catalyst thermostat Not a single one of these needed repair. Instead he truncated the noise I've been hearing to the AC compressor work they did a month ago. Oh... And he added some fuel injector cleaner. Initially I brought it to Duval Mazda due to it's proximity to my workplace and my belief that a certified Mazda mechanic and the professionalism of the employees of a dealership would yield a better end result. Having a better running car a positive experience and I'd be more confident in the work. I was gravely mistaken and will never place a foot in there again. An hour after I left the dealership my rear driver side tire was flat. It was only a week or so after my extended warranty ran out and after Duval Mazda performed work on my car that this $3000.00 in repairs was "required" Poor customer service, shoddy repairs, questionable ethics and the number of odd "coincidences" that occurred after having them service my car mean that I will never put my foot in there again. My mechanic has diagnostic equipment, years of experience and is someone who puts his heart in his work. He is reliable and trustworthy I only wish I stuck with him throughout. If price, integrity, common courtesy, respect and the condition of your car mean anything to you... Avoid this place. More

My son and I went to this dealership (Duval Mazda at the Avenues) for him to purchase his first car. The initial visit and conversations were fine, but we weren't able to make a deal. We made additional eff Avenues) for him to purchase his first car. The initial visit and conversations were fine, but we weren't able to make a deal. We made additional efforts to provide additional funding/financing, contacted Todd and he stated that "he couldn't make it work". In this case Todd was rude making the comment "we did all of this work and you're going to pass on the deal over $900?". My son only had a certain amount of money/financing available and the car price was still out of reach, he understood and moved on. After several hours of "shopping" at other dealerships we were referred to Vince @ Duval Ford. They were able to acquire the same car from Duval Mazda and make the deal work (Duval Ford offered double the trade-in value that was offered by Duval Mazda, Mazda offered $500). In short, we had a budget and the staff at Duval Ford made it happen. I would recommend the staff at Duval Ford any day of the week. Todd at Duval Mazda also misrepresented the car and it's price as Certified Pre-Owned, apparently it wasn't (at least not for the price that was listed). More
We came to rival Mazda to look at purchasing a mazda3. When we started, the salesman Todd was very nice and helpful and answered all of our questions. But that was when he had the notion we were going to When we started, the salesman Todd was very nice and helpful and answered all of our questions. But that was when he had the notion we were going to buy from him. The next day we were able to get financed with our bank, so we told Todd, and he immediately got very rude, raising his voice over the phone, and being very very unprofessional. This was by far the worst experience I have see had with a salesman of any kind. The kind of customer service Todd put forth was terrible. So we told him we were going to look around more that day since he obviously couldn't help us (or wasn't willing to). Several hours later we came across Duvall ford and explained our spending limit, told them about the masda3 we liked, and immediately they were able to work something out. They bought the Mazda from Todd's dealership and worked it out to sell under my limit to me. When they went to pick up the Mazda, Todd (not knowing its going to me) sends me an extremely rude text message saying "FYI the car is sold". Knowing I would be distraught hearing this. In the end, Vince and Gino from Duvall ford were the most helpful salesmen I have had the pleasure of dealing with, and i got the car I wanted with absolutely no help from Todd. Due to this experience I would not recommend duval Mazda, as this one salesman has completely ruined my car shopping experience. It's amazing that someone can be that desperate for a sale that they are driven to be rude to a customer that is willing to spend thousands of dollars on something. More
After a terrible experience at one of their competitors while trying to buy a new car, I visited Duval Mazda and came away with the car I wanted. Jason and Steven made the process very easy.
