I purchased my '10 Mazda 3 from Sharon at Duval Mazda @ the Avenues July '10. I started my research on the internet and was immediately emailed by Sharon from the internet team. I am always cautious with new car buying however after my first face to face visit with Sharon all my fears disappeared. Even during scorching July heat she was more than happy to show me multiple 3's and let me test drive one that neared my requirements. I made the decision later that night to get the ball rolling and began looking for a very specific and rare color/option/trim combination. Despite my dream car being nearly non-existent Sharon searched high and low, and while my first choice was unavailable due to nearing the model year end she was able to find me one that matched my second color choice. 4 days after my first meet with Sharon I was driving off in my new Velocity Red Mazda 3. I must say if you visit Duval Mazda go see Sharon. Sharon is an absolute pleasure to deal with and will get you the car you want. Long story short the sales service I received from Sharon was enough to make me call Mazda Corporate to give my kudos to such a great asset to their team. Now in typical fashion things did go slightly downhill in finance with Lucius (sp?). Being my 3rd new car purchase I was prepared for the worst, I equate the finance office with the depths of hell. I am not interested in financing my oil changes, buying some snake oil paint sealant package or some fly by night extended warranty. After I made this very clear he became extremely cold and short. The icing on the cake was that he had ZERO clue of the 90 days no payments part of the "Claim Your Mazda" event even so it is splashed all over MazdaUSA.com. I find it pretty frightening that the "business manager" from a Mazda franchise knows less about current corporate finance promotions than customers. After I told him it was all over MazdaUSA.com website he kept telling me he had never heard of such thing and after telling him Sharon advised me of the program he piped up 'we will get Sharon in here to straighten this out'. Yeah my perfect car buying day took a dive with Lucius. Overall I still had a great experience. I do recommend printing out Mazda Corporate finance promotions before buying and keep them on standby in case you end up in the office with Lucius. Long story short go see Sharon @ Duval Mazda! I cannot even say how much of a refreshing change it is to have a pleasant new car buying experience. **Update** Day after this review Lucius called me to apologize for his mistake with the 90 days no payments, had a new contract printed up with the 90 day deferral and had me come down. Never expected this but from a customer service standpoint it means quite a bit to call a customer and say 'I made a mistake, lets fix this'. Thanks Lucius. A++++ More

When we decided to return for the Mazda5, Mike had one we liked parked out front waiting for us, though we eventually bought one in a different color. Mike was polite, easy to work with, and gave us what we felt was a fair deal. When it came time to sign the final papers, Lucius helped us and was polite and easy to work with also. The time we spent in the dealership was fairly long, because it was a Sunday afternoon and the full staff was not present, but Mike and Lucius were good about keeping us comfortable and aware of the process. I would recommend this dealership to a friend. Overall, low pressure and polite staff made it an easy choice. More

I purchased my Mazda at Mazda City 2 years ago which i was not nearly as satisfied, which ultimately led me to trying out this dealership. If it was not my total satisfaction for the Mazda product i would not have tried again. But after this experience, i would not hesitate to return for future business, but would recommend to anyone i know or hear talking about purchasing a car. You can feel the welcoming atmosphere as soon as you walk in the door along with the absolute comfort and desire of the staff to help you make your decision one way or the other. there is no pressure felt, unlike other dealership, along with the intent to make your visit completely satisfying. I had a bad experience with an older sales manager (Loren GAY). Kevin Snyder listened to my problem and took prompt action to resolve it with no hassle on my part. Vincent was the service manager and he was a joy to work with. Both gentlemen are extremely professional and look at the situation rather than company policy. Kevin's motto was to make things right with the customer. In my case Loren did everything WRONG. He sold me a bill of goods and did not back his word up. If anything - he blamed the problem on ME! Kevin & Vincent are a huge asset to Duval Mazda and I will HIGHLY recommend this dealership. Hopefully, their work ethics will spread throughout the dealership. They deserve a HUGE THUMBS UP. More
It was a spur of the moment buy. We had been looking for a specific used car for sometime and driving by the dealership, there it was right out in front. She told us the car's story and showed it to us. Next thing we know, we were taking a test drive. Less than two hours later, we were driving off in it. That was the first time I had ever been in a dealership buying a car, whether new or used, that I was there for that short of a time and not stressed out at all!!! It was actually a very nice experience!! More
