My husband and I chose to look at a new CX-9 at Duval Mazda because they had the best selection in town. From the moment we walked in the state-of-the art dealership we felt welcomed even with two small Mazda because they had the best selection in town. From the moment we walked in the state-of-the art dealership we felt welcomed even with two small children in tow. We went for a test drive and needless to say we loved the car. The process of buying our family car was enjoyable and we loved the children's play room. Michael Sullivan and his team went over and beyond meeting our expectations. We were truly pleased with the professionalism of all the staff at the dealership. We highly recommend Duval Madza if you are shopping for a new or used car. More
I have bought not 1 but 2 cars from Duval Mazda. Although they are all willing to help you when you are about to buy a car, when it comes to them backing up their word for repairs, you will get nothing but t they are all willing to help you when you are about to buy a car, when it comes to them backing up their word for repairs, you will get nothing but the run around. I've had a multitude of issues that have only been multiplied by the service department at D.M. When the turbo went out in my MazdaSpeed3, I had to bring the car in at least 6-9 times to even get them to call Mazda North America about my turbo issues. The car was billowing white smoke (which I had 4 time stamped videos of) and when I notified the dealership, all they did was give me the run around until my bumper to bumper coverage was out and then they stated the turbo was bad. However, I kept ALL the paperwork stating I had been there a multitude of times with no results. After months of complaining for some type of customer service, I finally received it via MNA. Once I got the turbo issue fixed on the MS3, the RX8 I also bought from them had paint problems. The paint had bubbled, split, and flaked away exposing the metal under neath on the roof of the car. After being exposed to the air, the metal began to rust. This was clearly a fault in the prep the factory did for the paint. However, Duval Mazda said it must of been a rock that hit and chipped the paint. Thing is, it would of been IMPOSSIBLE for a rock to hit the specific area of the roof, and even if one had hit, there would have been some type of damage. There was none on my car. Just this week, a new issue has popped up with the MS3. The passanger CV boot became torn after they replaced my turbocharger. I brought the car in and asked them about repairing it. Somehow, CV boots are not covered under the warranty of the car, yet the axle itself it. I was told the only way to get my car fixed was if the axle had completely failed. Unfortunantly, being the person paying for the car, I'm not about to wait for the shaft to fail and break more parts 10miles after my powertrain coverage is up and for them to tell me I'm SOL. There is a reason why car people hate dealerships. Because they understand all the "tomfoolery" that is attempted to be concealed from the average customer. Duval Mazda is a perfect example of that. Although they are all bright and shining when your buying your car, when you return for your service, you'll wish there was somewhere else to go. More
a dealer very much stuck in the 60s. they offered $11000 for trade. when i got up to leave it went to $12000. When i got up to leave it went to $13500. when i got up to leave the price of the car i was look for trade. when i got up to leave it went to $12000. When i got up to leave it went to $13500. when i got up to leave the price of the car i was looking at came dowm. when i got up to leave the financing got better. i still left and bought from a hyundai dealer. i've purchased over 100 cars in my lifetime. i've grown very tired with the games these guys play. even with the $600 fee the hyundai dealer tacked onto the back end it was still a much more pleasant experience elsewhere. I recently purchased a used 2006 Mazda 6 from Duval Mazda. I was blown away with how professional and caring the sales department was. My husband went into the store and got all the information we need Mazda. I was blown away with how professional and caring the sales department was. My husband went into the store and got all the information we needed without any of the normal pressures. When we were ready to buy Fred was the manager who took care of me. The General Manager, Mike Sullivan also spoke with us to make sure that all of our questions were answered and we were taken care of. I have taken my 6 back into the service department for an oil change since. The service manager Rocco took care of everything. The building is new and is tops compared to some of the other dealerships in town. I had a cup of coffee, my kids played in the playroom and on the racing game, and we were out of there fast. I would highly recommend for sales and service!!! Overall a great experience… A+++ More
As I am working and my husband is retired, my husband was doing the "front work" on this car purchase. It was my birthday. He wanted to buy me a car for my birthday. My husband went to the Mazda dealer doing the "front work" on this car purchase. It was my birthday. He wanted to buy me a car for my birthday. My husband went to the Mazda dealer and drove a Mazda 3s. He loved it. He told Tony the other car we're considering buying (a different brand from another company), down to the exact price. Tony said he can be competitive with that price. My husband went home and called me and said that he has a car he thinks I'll like, and would I mind spending part of my birthday evening test driving a car. I said o.k. and he called Tony back to say we're coming in. We arrived and Tony had us test drive the Mazda 3i, which had less power than the 3s. He must have thought that this would make us really appreciate the 3s afterwards. It did not. It irritated us because he was wasting our time. Then we test drove the 3s. It was very nice. I saw advantages over the other car we were conidering. Price was now the decision-making factor. He gave us a price that was $6,000 above what my husband had already told him we could get the other car for. WHAT? How can he call this a "competitive" price? Is he a liar? Does he think we're stupid? We were insulted, and I was aggravated to be so aggravated on my birthday. In the end, we bought the other car the day after my birthday and I am thrilled with it. Maybe more so, I am thrilled with the service and respect I received from the other dealership. More
I love my mazda and could see myself buying another one, but not from these people. They are the epitome of sleazy car salesmen. The sales experience to begin with was less than steller. Apparently, the but not from these people. They are the epitome of sleazy car salesmen. The sales experience to begin with was less than steller. Apparently, their finance software is difficult to use. It took 4 tries and about as many employees basically trying to tell me I can't do simple math before the monthly payment calculation was accurate. It started about 100 dollars more a month than it should have been and slowly worked it's way down to the correct figure over the 4 tries. Thier response: "The bottom line never changed." Our response: "Seriosuly, you don't know how to use your own software? I'm not buying it." We really should have walked away then. The service experience was laughable. We made an appointment to have the windows tinted. We were told that they would provide a loaner car and that we could drop the cars off as early as 7AM. When we showed up at 7, we were unapologetically told by the service guy that he didn't have access to the sales dept's loaner cars and that we'd have to come back at 9 when the sales people got in. We called at 9 to get everything straightened out. The sales guys said that the person we made the appointment through wasn't in, but that they'd get it taken care of anyhow. I drove back down to the dealership and was ignored for 15 minutes by the service guy who was helping someone into a "service dept" loaner. I didn't get so much as a nod or a "be right with you" despite him walking by me several times. After the person he was helping had driven away, I walked over to him and was immediately greeted with "Did you talk to the sales guy?" I told him that we had called and that they said they would take care of it. He then went to talk with the sales people, who were, to their credit, getting a car ready for me. I am baffled as to why it was an issue to begin with, but more over completely taken aback by the service guy's attitude and lack of customer service. And to top it all off, a month and a half after we bought the cars we were made aware of a registration issue, that due to this dealership's negligence cost us $140.00. All they needed to do to remedy the situation was to pick up the phone to let us know what was going on. It was just a simple registration issue. Not only did we never get that phone call, once we realized their mistake and called them to have it rectified, we were told (in a chastising tone) that they did talk to us about it and that we even signed something that said as much. When, in fact, they never did mention the problem, and the only thing we signed corroborated exactly what we were saying we were led to believe. We presented this all to the sales manager, who offered nothing more than a stoney "For what it's worth, I'm sorry this happened." More

Vehicle (CX7) immaculately prepped and filled to the top with gas. Week later follow up phone call to ensure all was well and two days after received a car care package with wax, soap and wheel cleaner. Best experience ever with a dealership. Lived in Japan for 12 years and this type of service is generally expected. Highly recommended! More
