DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE.This place was great a couple years ago. They had some mad scientist mechanics that really knew what they were doing. This is NOT the case anymore. I took my MR2 there for a diagn years ago. They had some mad scientist mechanics that really knew what they were doing. This is NOT the case anymore. I took my MR2 there for a diagnosis (Heavy vibration in the steering wheel and a rattle). My appointment was for 10 am. My car didn't even see the lift until well after 3pm. They poked at it for maybe 45 minutes and charged $96 for it. By poked I mean put it on a lift and spun the front wheels a little while. They told me I had a seized caliper (not news to me, as I could smell the pad cooking). They also swore up and down that my wheel bearings were shot (Diagnosed from a slight grinding sound when the rim was spun). They then told me that they "couldn't locate" Toyota parts and would have to source them from Autozone. After I got the price list I did a little research and called Autozone myself. With their "finders fee" (or whatever they want to call their piracy) the cost of the parts were almost doubled. As for the actual diagnosis: My bearings were fine. The grinding noise that they swore was the bearing was the squeaker bar on my pads barely touching the rotor. They would have seen that if they bothered to take the rim off. The actual problem turned out to be my strut mounts ($30 in parts vs. about $200). The "mechanics" that they employ need to go back to school. Your car will leave still broken. The only silver lining will be the better gas mileage you will get due to your wallet being significantly lighter. More
They are unfriendly and condesending when speaking to clients that are worried about mechanical problems with their car.
