Paul and Tina and Derrick ( I think that's their names) assured me it'd be taken care of while the paperwork got done. When paperwork was complete I wanted to return home to my pregnant wife and little boy thinking aforementioned was taken care of. However, I ended up needing to vacuum the back of the car out myself (1/2 hour of work - it was nasty) after returning home because they did a lousy job with that (not sure if they did anything). Now to the mirror. It shakes. It's annoying. They said they'll take care of it. However, after much research and driving around to glass places (no dealership would do it) Glass Pro said they have to remove the mirror and put it back on. However, if it comes off and cracks the windshield I need a new windshield - so I would need a $600 back- up plan and windshield ready. When I explained this to Lexus dealership, they said "Just have it tightened. I can not pay to replace" That seems like no regard if it cracks. A person is only as good as their word and so far Lexus has failed me twice with one vehicle. After about 2 1/2 weeks, they sent someone out to fix it who tightened up a screw, but overall it still shakes. The problem has not been resolved. I believe Lexus dealership will not actually take the correct route in fixing my mirror (mentioned earlier) but will continue to just have people try to screw things tighter/etc (incorrect and cheap way). At this point, I feel like they just want me to go away, not bother them with this issue. So, I feel like I bought a used Ford from them and was treated as such. BTW, nice response Lexus, saying something about a warranty!? what does that have to do with my situation? I have things for sale too but I'm not posting it here. More

Excellent Service I have owned various Lexus (RX and LS) since 1990. Other than a brief overlapping experience with Mercedes, it is the only line of cars I purchased. I have owned various Lexus (RX and LS) since 1990. Other than a brief overlapping experience with Mercedes, it is the only line of cars I purchased. I have been completely satisfied with the quality of the cars and have never had a major problem. The dealerships (both sales and service) treat you with utmost courtesy and respect and appreciate you as a customer. After moving to Bluffton, South Carolina I was disappointed that the closest dealership was in Savannah, GA. I was extremely pleased when Hilton Head Lexus opened up just 3 miles from my house. I would strongly recommend them and Lexus to car buyers. More

The ultimate Lexus experience I was from out of town on vacation when I called this dealership with questions about a problem I was experiencing with the braking system on my Lexus I was from out of town on vacation when I called this dealership with questions about a problem I was experiencing with the braking system on my Lexus and the service consultant, James Hammond, made several suggestions trying to assist me getting to the dealership without having to be towed. We did end up having to be towed, but when we arrived he was waiting on me and arranged a loaner while they arranged to get the needed part. I felt welcomed and was made to feel at home. While repairing my Lexus, they discovered a couple of other items that needed addressing and called me and they took care of those also. James Hammond, the service consultant, went above and beyond my expectations and the repairs were completed when expected. This dealership is outstanding and I highly recommend them! The ultimate Lexus experience!!! More
