I was very surprized to actually walk in and out of the dealership in less than two hours. As soon as I drove home in my new Honda my neighbor asked questions and I referred Tony and if he was not available anyone else could help her.From the time I walked in until the time I walked out everyone was helpful but not overbearing. My husband and I were trying to decide whether to lease or buy a new car to replace my Nissan Murano. We stopped by Hilton Head Honda and met Tim. He was informative, considerate and helpful. After test driving an Odyssey and going across the street to test drive a Toyota Sienna, we were not only impressed with the way the Odyssey drove, but even more impressed with Tim's graciousness and attitude. Toyota sales managers had followed us to our car, trying every possible ploy to get us to buy a Toyota--we were so irritated! We returned to Tim and test drove a few more cars and decided on our steel blue Odyssey. Not only are we very pleased with our leased car--it drives like a dream--but we went back and purchased another Honda (Crosstour) for our second car! We have not had any experience with the service department yet (a good thing not to need so soon!), but they have a wonderful reputation in the area. Thanks go to Tim and the Honda team! We're happy to be a Honda family again. More
Dan McGinnis was our salesman. We traded in our 2010 Honda Pilot for a 2013 Accord. Dan was very courteous and extremely knowldgeable. He gave us a thorough and complete review of the cars systems. Deirdre was great! She brought the car to me since I couldn't make it up to Bluffton from Savannah. She answered all my questions and was a pleasure to work with. The car I was interested in was sold, but she still keeps in touch with me from week to week letting me know about pre-owned cars they get in that are in my price range. I asked for an E-price online price quote for a Civic, we had a little mis-communication on which year I wanted, but that could have been worked out. I worked out the price and trade with Deirdre who passed it along to Tony. When I got there, Tony did not seem to know much about our conversation. Which seems to be more of the norm these days with dealership, the internet department works out a deal to get you in and then you start all over with sales when you get there. Not very considerate of the customers time. The trade in was different when I arrived, but I can not fault them entirely for that because a few new problems came to light when I arrived at the dealership, but they were lowering the price before they even looked at the car. I can't say my experience was either bad or good with Hilton Head Honda, it was just your typical car dealership. More
Tony was great. He walked the lot to find the car that I wanted, worked with me for a great deal, was friendly and knowledgeable and answered all my questions. He spent time with me and my daughter to show wanted, worked with me for a great deal, was friendly and knowledgeable and answered all my questions. He spent time with me and my daughter to show us where everything was in the car and how to work the navigation, radio and all the bells and whistles my new Honda Accord is equipped with. He has been gracious enough to let me know he is just a phone call away if I have any questions. It's been 10 years since I bought a new car and Tony made it easy and a pleasure. Thanks Tony! More

All things considered, this was undoubtedly the least complicated, most pleasant auto leasing or buying experience my wife and I have ever had! This is the second vehicle we have leased through Hilton Head Honda. We went to the dealership to get a look at new 2013 models prior to the end of our current lease (mid-summer). My wife was most interested in the Crosstour. Dan McGinnis did an excellent job of detailing the vehicle for us and laying the groundwork for rolling over from our current lease into a new lease on a 2013 Crosstour. He then turned us over to Evans Simons, the Sales Manager who presented us very quickly with a no-nonsense lease offer that enabled us to go right into a new vehicle with virtually no difference in our monthly payment from our previous lease with only dealer prep and first month's payment due upon our acceptance. We were extremely pleased. The finance manager, Shawn Lessig, then took over and completed the transaction without a hitch. The staff could not have been friendlier or more accommodating even though we were approaching the end of the work day. Mr McGinnis then saw to it that I was well informed on all of the finer points on our new vehicle. As I said initially, a thoroughly easy and pleasant experience. More
The check engine light in my 2006 Honda Odyssey was actuated by a wire (not visible or easily accessible) that had been chewed by a rodent. Jeff and Jason immediately diagnosed the problem. Jeff (parts manager) had the part in stock, and Jason (service advisor) immediately got my vehicle into the service bay to complete the repair. In addition, Jason noticed that I had a split windshield wiper, and two others which were worn , and replace those as well. The entire process was handled quickly, cheerfully and professionally. On a different visit about 6 months ago I had brought in my daughter's 2000 Honda CRV for an oil change service. Jason noticed that the spare tire, which was mounted on the rear tailgate had been slashed. It was an odd size which they did not have in stock, but I was able to find a tire, which they mounted at no charge. I highly recommend Hilton Head Honda. In fact, it is the service department, which primarily influenced me to buy a vehicle from this dealership. More
