I visited Hilton Head Honda a year ago and Dan McGinnis was very gracious and helped me look at CR-Vs. We discussed my needs and I told him that I wasn't there to buy that day but would come back the foll was very gracious and helped me look at CR-Vs. I received a call from him a month later and he asked if he could be of any service and I told him that I was still going to wait for 2013. We came back to Hilton Head Honda this month and I asked for Dan McGinnis. He was so helpful at my last visit that I wanted to be sure to get him again. He was so straight-forward, mature, competent and answered all of our questions. He went the extra mile to make the deal work for us. We got the exact car that we wanted. After the purchase, he took us around the dealership and introduced us to the Parts Manager and the Service Manager and also showed us the bays where the cars were worked on - very impressive and spotlessly clean work area. Unlike another dealership I went to, there were no dealer fees, taxes, or even tag transfer fees added on after we agreed on a price. His out the door price really was the out the door price. Tony Lyda is an awesome Sales Agent!! When I arrived at the dealership, the salesman (Tony Lyda) was not at all assuming. He didn’t have the pushy, in-your-face attitude about me making a purchase. If I wanted something addressed or corrected, he did exactly what I asked, quickly and without argument or condescension. That was very reassuring, especially with such a big purchase (2 vehicles). He gave me space without constantly talking or moving me from one car to another. Tony was accessible and prompt. An offer was made, and he took it back and forth to the manager until an agreement was reached. It was easy to see that he takes great pleasure in his work and in making sure his customers are completely satisfied. I greatly appreciated his tireless energy and spirit. It made the entire process much more pleasant and less nerve-racking. Thanks to Tony and the supporting efforts of the Hilton Head Honda dealership team, I actually had a positive car-buying experience. They did an exceptional job, and I purchased 2 cars because of Tony's efforts. In addition I referred a family member and again Tony's efforts lead to a multi-car purchase.
