Recall to my vehicle was done for driver airbag replacement during 2016. The airbag light came on and never went away. Spoke to Honda and service dept. there was no record in their system saying th replacement during 2016. The airbag light came on and never went away. Service person is a nice man. But Very bad experience. I received a violation ticket during my car still in the service. I called back that I want to speak to the manager. I brought my 2020 Odyssey in to replace the recalled parts. Everyone was extremely nice and pleasant to deal with. There were, however, a few areas for improvement. First, I scheduled my service appo parts. Everyone was extremely nice and pleasant to deal with. There were, however, a few areas for improvement. First, I scheduled my service appointment over a month before the date and, when I arrived, was told that the new rear view camera piece still had to be ordered, and that I would have to bring my car back again. I'm not sure why this wasn't ordered before my appointment, so that it could be replaced along with the other parts and I wouldn't have to schedule an additional repair and leave my car Honda again at a later date. Even more frustrating, I dropped my car off at 9am. Around 3PM, I received a call that the repairs could not be completed because the repair men did not know how to remove the 2 car seats from the car and, even more surprising, that they didn't know how to remove the middle seat in the second row (this can be done without taking the car seats out). I'm wondering how no one at the service station or in the Honda showroom knew how to remove the middle seat of the car if these cars are shown and serviced daily? I was then asked to come remove the seat, which I was unable to do because I was at work. I arrived after 5PM to remove the middle seat a to allow access to the doors. This is basic functionality for the minivan and one of the main reasons I chose this car. I had to leave my car overnight and then Uber to pick it up the following day. I was not anticipating to pay for 4 Uber rides to get my car serviced- from Honda to work, from work back to Honda, from Honda ome, and then from home back to Honda the following day. This is extremely frustrating and avoidable, and I hope that things will run more smoothly when I come back to replace the rear view camera. More
