A friend of mine who is mechanic said that there was something a problem of the electric circuit so he recommended to go to the dealership since he believed it is part of the warranty. I came there Thursday, June 10, dropped the car and spoke to Joseph Patano. I know the standard spill not to cover the warranty until everything is checked which was clearly explained by Joseph. I intended to get a car rental because of my tight schedules to work hoping the rental will be covered by Honda. That afternoon, I got a call from Joseph that the car is okay and the problem was the alarm system, which is not part of warranty so I have to pay the rental but no charges from Honda. I said, ok that's fair enough. However, when I got the car the next day, the noise even got worst. I called them Friday,June 11 and spoke to Joseph about the recurring problem. I know I was pissed off but it would never help the problem if I have to shout at someone. I clearly told Joseph that I just want the problem fixed. I used to work in the a Five Star Hotel and I know the system of customer service from the first contact person to the internal employee involved in fixing the problem. The front person whose name is JOSEPH PATANO, is very professional enough to deal such problem within his authority. Any problems happen anytime and it is just a matter on how the problem was handled and the " STEP OF RECOVERY" exhibited by Joseph to fix the problem was worth mentioning. I dropped the car again on Wednesday, June 16 and got the car that same afternoon before going to work. I was supposed to get a car rental if it wasn't fixed that day. But Joseph made an extra mile to ensure leaving a message that the car is ready and fixed. I know my first experience wasn't that good but at the end of day the most important is how the service provider - Joseph Patano of Hillside Honda handled my entire experience. I know the pressure and negative energy like Joseph absorbs from different customers who have individual problems going to Honda but JOSEPH is very porfessional and able to RECOVER to win back the good experience. There is no such thing as best experience everytime in customer service. It is how the problem is handled and fixed that makes customer feel good and being valued for the business. KUDOS to Joseph Patano of Hillside Honda for his professionalism and demonstrating the RECOVERY steps of winning back the confidence of the customer like me. And hope everyone exhibits the same professionalism of customer service and being able to RECOVER after the problem was handled well at first experience. I got my first HONDA CRV last December 2008 as a gift for myself after graduating Nursing. And I know I will buy HONDA again in the same dealership- HILLSIDE HONDA for my next car in the near future. By the way, I know I got wierd name of Jenefer but Joseph was sensitive enough to call me in my last name of GASTANES because my name is too female to call. But it is pronounced as HENEFER. However my complete name is Jenefer Carlito Gastanes. And I prefer to be called as CARL. I hope this commendation reach to management and congratulate Joseph Patano for his exemplary service. The people there is very friendly and very helpful everytime i have a problem with my car i feel comfable enough to bring it to them. honda service. The last time i went there my car needed a tire replace and i didnt even realize that my inspection was due and the service advisor let me know an event and i was able to do my inspection and tire replacment at the same time. My first experince with a honda car and I have to say Im very please with the price and ofcourse with the car itself, but more important is by the way I been treated by the service dept. when I was ready fo very please with the price and ofcourse with the car itself, but more important is by the way I been treated by the service dept. when I was ready for my first service I was at work and just went onlise to schedule an appt in seconds I received a reply giving me the option to wait for my car or drop it off and comeback for it, and they had available the next day which it worked our for me excellent because my next day I was supossed to be at work a little later than the usual. Exactly how they promessed me my veh was ready by 45 minutes, left with my car to work and Joseph took his time in explain that i didnt only get an oil change but also, they check my battery as well as the tire preasure..... I have to say hillside honda is the best! More

As soon as we drove in a gentleman was waiting for us and didnt even ask if w had an appt just took us inside and joel the service adv came and talk to us, we told him we dint have an appt but that we needed the car service that same day. Politly he says no problem let me check ur mileage recommended a maintanence we did not have an idea at what mileage veh need it what. He clear told us and we agreed . He asked us to seat there get comfy, have some coffee if you like your car is going to be ready like an hour. we waited took our car and went to our trip the next day. thanks hillside honda service.. for hillside honda customer's satisfaction comes first... I bought a 2011 honda pilot, the best price in town, when it was time for my first service I called just to see how the service dept operate. The service dept accommodate by taking me in the same day and I was able to seat and wait for it while it was done. not only that my veh. was done right away, but they also top off my fluids, and they did a complementary battery check.
