Issue with water leak I took my honda pilot in to get diagnosed, i did the preliminary diagnostic and put a note in the dash or the car what i did and what i suspected wher I took my honda pilot in to get diagnosed, i did the preliminary diagnostic and put a note in the dash or the car what i did and what i suspected where the leak is coming from, end of the day, i was told they flushed all drains of A/C and "water leak" check the car and it should be ok. Well, problem still exist. I did my own research and did found and fixed the problem. Easy fix that's why i'm rating this service center 1 star because it's their own vehicle, i know there's a lot of this same issues out there based on my research, but still they couldn't fix my car...so incompetent. I made an appointment to have my car fixed for the recall, the phone operators seemed like they were bothered by me and were rushed and busy.Very rude to me.Made an appointment 3 weeks away. I get there and the rudely tell me to sit down until your name is called. The service guy HENRY PETERSON,looks up my car vin # and said my car isn't under recall because its vin specific only some vehicles with specific vins are under recall even though its the same car/year. I have the same year make and model as the recall and the same problems as the recall and they didn"t want to fix it,.they just extended the warranty for the problem but won't fix it.They wanted me to pay for it out of my own pocket.they basically just wanted to update the software on my car and change sparkplugs on my car even though i told them I got them changed already,they basically put a bandaid on a gun shot wound. A mechanic told me if I don't get it fixed in the long run my engine can blow,so honda's plan is just do the bare minimun and wait till the warranty is over and its not their problem when the engine blows. Henry peterson was basically brushing off my questions and changing the subject,horrible service,then after he sounded like an idiot he said " listen you can get the software update for free then jump up in arms after to honda." what kind of answer is that? I thought honda was reliable,and if you had problems they would take care of you. Then HENRY PETERSON tells me he will call me when my car is done,and never calls me.I had to call them right before closing to see if my car was done,I guess I pissed him off and he wanted to close so I would have to wait the next day to pick up my car. I waited 3 weeks for my appointment, and they didn't fix it at all,their service guy Henry peterson said the recall is vin # specific while i have the same make and model and same issues as the recall. They said they just extended my warranty for the issue and did a software update and changed my sparkplugs when i already had them changed. My honda misfires and has a leak in the combustion chamber which other people with the same vehicle has,and what they did was like putting a band aid on a gunshot wound and didn't even fix the leak. Honda isn't as reliable as you think,and they won't take care of you if there is a recall they will make some b.s up that the recall is vin #specific. The sale associate henry peterson didnt help me at all, just just trying to change the subject,he said he would call me when my car was done,and he didn't even do that, guess he wanted me to miss me picking up my car and just close,so I would have to wait till the next day to get it. Honda in genral will not take care of you. And hillside honda has the worse service when you call them and service center is slow and unprofessional and will change the subject on the issue and won't even fix your car. More

There was no other message and she gave the appointment for service, I got there, every employee was in the line of duty, in 20 minutes I was out, it was nothing important and they re-adjusted it. On the door, I met the manager, he asked me a very important question : What can we do to do better for our customers? I say...nothing you guys are great and well organized...I was truthful. No many people would ask this kind of questions to customers!! Hillside Honda..Keep the good job and you will be in business for many years to come!! More

Everyone was very polite and friendly..until the end including Cashier and the Man who brought my car! It was very quick and professional. Very different from the Honda Dealer at Woodside where I got terrible service and they make me over spent unnecessary job in a brand new car. This Hillside Dealer in Jamaica, NY is really a good place to do business!! I will come back without a doubt!! More
