Hillside Honda - Service Center

No service On the service website, they close at 6. I spoke to the service department at 3:30 and told the nice young lady who answered that I would be there by On the service website, they close at 6. I spoke to the service department at 3:30 and told the nice young lady who answered that I would be there by 4:30. She asked what I needed. I told her express service oil change. She said they close at 5, and that would be fine. "See you then". I arrived at 4:25 and was told they were closed. The mechanic chilling out, outside the service entrance smoking a cigarette told me they stop taking customers at 3. The manager laughed at me and told me there were "cars in front of you, bro" and I couldn't come in. As a regular Honda customer, buying 5 cars in a row from Bay Ridge Honda, and always using their service, with no complaints, I'm not sure why I even tried to come to Hillside. This Dealership/Service department is a joke. I will never come back, will never allow anyone I know to go there, and will return to Bay Ridge ASAP! More

Issue with water leak I took my honda pilot in to get diagnosed, i did the preliminary diagnostic and put a note in the dash or the car what i did and what i suspected wher I took my honda pilot in to get diagnosed, i did the preliminary diagnostic and put a note in the dash or the car what i did and what i suspected where the leak is coming from, end of the day, i was told they flushed all drains of A/C and "water leak" check the car and it should be ok. Well, problem still exist. I did my own research and did found and fixed the problem. Easy fix that's why i'm rating this service center 1 star because it's their own vehicle, i know there's a lot of this same issues out there based on my research, but still they couldn't fix my car...so incompetent. Recall on my car, and they won't fix it. Theres a recall and lawsuit for my 2009 honda accord, they lied to me on the phone saying they will fix it free of charge. I waited 3 weeks for my appointment, and they didn't fix it at all,their service guy Henry peterson said the recall is vin # specific while i have the same make and model and same issues as the recall. They said they just extended my warranty for the issue and did a software update and changed my sparkplugs when i already had them changed. My honda misfires and has a leak in the combustion chamber which other people with the same vehicle has,and what they did was like putting a band aid on a gunshot wound and didn't even fix the leak. Honda isn't as reliable as you think,and they won't take care of you if there is a recall they will make some b.s up that the recall is vin #specific. The sale associate henry peterson didnt help me at all, just just trying to change the subject,he said he would call me when my car was done,and he didn't even do that, guess he wanted me to miss me picking up my car and just close,so I would have to wait till the next day to get it. Honda in genral will not take care of you. And hillside honda has the worse service when you call them and service center is slow and unprofessional and will change the subject on the issue and won't even fix your car. More

There was no other message and she gave the appointment for service, I got there, every employee was in the line of duty, in 20 minutes I was out, it was nothing important and they re-adjusted it. On the door, I met the manager, he asked me a very important question : What can we do to do better for our customers? I say...nothing you guys are great and well organized...I was truthful. No many people would ask this kind of questions to customers!! Hillside Honda..Keep the good job and you will be in business for many years to come!! More

Everyone was very polite and friendly..until the end including Cashier and the Man who brought my car! It was very quick and professional. Very different from the Honda Dealer at Woodside where I got terrible service and they make me over spent unnecessary job in a brand new car. This Hillside Dealer in Jamaica, NY is really a good place to do business!! I will come back without a doubt!! More
