Disappointed I was disappointed with my experience at the service center on Wednesday 10-24-18. I will say that normally I am very happy with the entire service experience when I bring my 2010 Civic to Hillside Honda, which I have been doing since I bought the car. It started when I dropped my car off, The service advisor had a very difficult time determining what services had already been done and what service I was due for. Getting checked in took about twice as look as usual. After I received a call later in the morning that additional service was recommended, I authorized the recommended service and asked if it would be finished when I planned to pick up the car at around 5:15. I was assured it would be. In fact I received a call at 4:10 saying everything was finished and the car was ready. I arrived at approximately 5:10 and the service advisor asked me to wait a couple of minute. This turned into about 25 minutes, while he seemed to putter around with his computer. Finally after he dealt with some other people who had been waiting for a while, he got to me and said the reason it took him so long was because one of the parts used could only be entered onto the bill by the Parts department. Too me this seems a little silly. All the parts and all of the different services have computer codes and if you need to allocate the cost and the revenue to different cost centers, it seems that should be done by the computerized system and should not cause delays in getting vehicles back to the customers. Then it seems there was some confusion about who was going to call to bring my car around. When I paid, the cashier told me to wait by the driveway for the car. I asked if they knew to bring it to me and she said yes. After waiting 12 minutes, one of the drivers who brought around a car for a different customer, asked to see my paperwork and it was only then that someone went to retrieve my car. Finally, when I drove away, I went to turn on my radio and discovered that after replacing my battery, no one entered the code so I had to drive without my radio until I had a chance to go through my papers to find and enter my code. Not at all what I expected and the customer service wasnt helpful. It felt as if I was being a pest for wanting updates on my car when service Mike never called me back to update me. More

Slow Service I booked an online reservation for an oil change and tire rotation on Friday at 7:00am and then find out upon arrival that it was at the dealership an I booked an online reservation for an oil change and tire rotation on Friday at 7:00am and then find out upon arrival that it was at the dealership and not their express service like my prior visit (I was told later that I was supposed to put this in the comments field when I was booking although that wasn't apparent). Even though I was the third car on the line it took 2.5 hours for the oil change and tire rotation! Thanks for making me late for work. More
