Bad experirnce I’ve been a customer at this dealership since 2004 and their service department was once excellent but it is declining rapidly. The wait on line to d I’ve been a customer at this dealership since 2004 and their service department was once excellent but it is declining rapidly. The wait on line to drop off the car has increased substantially. What used to take 5 min is now taking up to 20 min. Today I had an oil change and they failed to correct the oil life expectancy reading on the dash and failed to place a sticker on the windshield as to the next oil change. I’m wondering as to whether they actually did an oil change. They failed to adjust a sunroof panel door which cam off its track and told me to come back snd make another appointment. Meanwhile all these things were listed on the bill as having been performed. The quality of their service department has gone downhill. Some of their long time service directors who were very competent were fired and are no longer there. More

50-50 When I brought the vehicle in for a recall replacement of the passenger airbag, I was told initially that I did not have an appointment as the record When I brought the vehicle in for a recall replacement of the passenger airbag, I was told initially that I did not have an appointment as the record indicated that the appointment was for the week before - the day I actually made the appointment so I knew that was incorrect. The gentleman who greeted me checked with the manager and was able to get me in for service. He went out of his way to do so which I appreciated. Once in, I was treated well and waited for the work to be performed. It took a little over an hour. Not bad at all which is why I rated this experience a 3 out of 5 and why I would recommend it notwithstanding what occurred afterward which I describe below. The problem is with the service department telephone operator(s). It seems that during the morning hours, it is overwhelming the amount of calls that are handled (giving them the benefit of the doubt). After I returned home with my vehicle, I received a call from Genesis after my service who left a voice mail. I attempted for thirty minutes to return her call on Monday. I was placed on hold for a long time (with some very annoying and repetitive on hold music) and then eventually disconnected. This happened twice. I finally used the online web chat system and was able to communicate with Matt and told him what I was trying to accomplish as well as my displeasure. Matt was polite, responsive and I was told that the message would be given to Genesis or someone from service and that I would get a call back. As I write this, I am still waiting for the call back which I am sure is forthcoming. However, it seems that the service center should spend a few extra bucks to hire some additional help in the morning or at least have a system in place where one may leave a phone number for a return call. It shows an understanding and appreciation for the fact that the caller may have other things to do other than wait on hold for an inordinate amount of time. Anything over three minutes without someone coming back on the phone to advise of the status of the call is too much time. I have purchased three Honda vehicles in the last 15 years from this dealership. I like the vehicles. What happened today was unnecessary and avoidable. More
