I am writing as a returning customer, my family has visited this Honda dealership for purchase of our family cars, as well as service for many years. I am familiar with the center, enjoy the convenient visited this Honda dealership for purchase of our family cars, as well as service for many years. I am familiar with the center, enjoy the convenient location and the fair service that I have received over the years. They are trustworthy and often do a good job with the repair. Therefore I still recommend this service center. Judging on past experiences, I would have given Hillside Honda 5/5 stars. However, my recent interaction with service representative Henry left me feeling disrespected. I was happy to they accepted my car last minute for a flat tire at 2:30PM. I was told the job could not be completed within the day, which I understood. I was told I could pick it up the next day, and the time I specified was 1PM for pick up, since I would be in the area for work ending at 1PM. He confidently said SURE and said would call me when it was done. 1PM the next day, he did not call me, so I tried to reach him but could not until almost 2PM. He initially apologized to me, and said it was simply too busy, but guessed the car would be ready in the next hour or so, but backtracked on his promise completely, saying he never promised any time. I was upset but tried to respect that it wasn't his fault, and waited the hour. I called him 5 minutes before 3PM, wondering what was going on and if he would be able to keep his new promise, because I had somewhere to be and could just arrange to pick it up the next day. He was immediately combative, saying he had 5 minutes until his promised 3PM deadline and he had not called me yet because he was working on the paperwork. I brushed it off and showed up. True to his word, the paperwork was ready, I paid in about 1-2 minutes, and waited for my car. However, when I was asking about where to wait for my car, and pressing for how long that was going to take, because I met a nice old lady by the door who said she was waiting 15 minutes, he was again, combative, mishearing that I was complaining that I had been waiting 15 minutes already. He proceeded to tell me that my car was accepted last minute yesterday, so I had no reason to be complaining about my wait. I don't see why he needed to mention this as leverage. I don't see why he had to be combative to me when I never yelled at him or made him feel like this was his fault in any way. I can look past the fact that it took 24 hours to have ONE TIRE replaced on my car but I cannot look past the fact that I felt disrespected and wronged. I am upset at the service I received from Hillside Honda because of Henry. He made a promise he couldn't keep, but could not own up to it. I felt disrespected and as a regular customer I will now think twice about coming back. More
