Doesn't take long till they throw over-priced used vehicles at you. Vehicles under $12,000 are non existent, and it is just a lure. Website is false. Same goes for the Toyota dealer across the stre vehicles at you. Vehicles under $12,000 are non existent, and it is just a lure. Website is false. Same goes for the Toyota dealer across the street. Vehicles over 6 yrs. old or over 60,000 miles are NOT certified anymore, so don't waste your time asking for one. Dealer pretty much gives up on you when you don't wanna buy new and they loose interest in a used sale. Place is good for new cars, but that's about it. They can't do much when you buy new except fiddle with your A.P.R. Be careful when searching a used car at a dealer. Buy from independent seller or small, unaffiliated dealers and don't waste your time with certified car lies. Good luck! More

The only reason for this average rating was that I thought the wait time was too long, however I did get a great price on the Odyssey. My experience with the support staff at Hillside Honda was great. In my opinion Murid went above and beyond to help me with an issue with my Auto Registration caused by my insurance company. He personally called the insurance company several times on my behalf. Chris in the prep area was very helpful also in keeping me inform of when the mats that I purchased would arrive. He called me exactly when he promised. With this being said I took my brother to Hillside Honda on 4/25/09 when he wanted to purchase a Odyssey EX since their price is the lowest. I dealt with Adrian again and this time the entire sales process and delivery was quick. We went it at 9:30 and my brother took delivery of his Odyssey at 1pm. Once again they were able to beat the price that I received from several other Honda Dealers in the area. Thanks Adrian and Mike. More

I had really bad credit and little hope in being able to accept the job offer since it was quite a ditance from my house. I saw their tv ad and decided let me check out my options. I am very happy to say that it was one of the best moves i've ever made. I purchased a pre owned accord and they were able to help me despite my 450 credit score. Adrien helped me out by providing me with suitable monthly payments. I recommend hillside honda to anyone who is looking to get into a vehicle More

The sales manager "forced" us to buy a car that was not even our choice... yep, you read it correct.... We were literally forced to buy civic, when we kept on asking for a price on an accord!! Never de even our choice... yep, you read it correct.... We were literally forced to buy civic, when we kept on asking for a price on an accord!! Never deal with Carolyn - sales manager. Very rude and obnoxious! She thinks that people who walk in there are either stupid and/or idiots. We went in, asked for Stephanie as we had spoken to her on the phone before. She came out after a 5 minute wait and said that she would ask one of her sales staff to talk to us. No one showed up for about 10 minutes. Karen, a sales associate, coming from a break, walked up and asked if we were being helped. I said no and she started with the usual SAT questions of why you want a car and how many kids you have etc. etc. No issues there... She later then proceeded to explain all the features of the car - civic and accord. We asked if we could test drive a base LX versions of both. First we test drove Accord and she asked us to wait. She came back and started working on the price!! I am like... well, when can I test drive Civic? She is like - Oh I didn't think it was necessary!... anyways, we test drove civic too. Now, back at her desk, right next to the entrance door and under the vents with hot air blowing... she started talking about civic. Our Question: What are the current incentives for Accord and Civic? Karen: The price of the car depends up on your commitment to buy today and our stock. Again, our Q: I understand, but what are the current incentives from either Honda or your dealership? Karen: All this depends upon your commitment... blah blah... This is absolute BS... it's asking a politician a question.. no matter what you ask, the response is what they want to say. So, we kept quite and she asked us the colors and options - we chose black or gray and said no options - just lx as it comes from factory. She wrote down and asked us to wait a minute - did not tell us where she was going or who she was meeting. We were thinking that she was looking up stock - WRONG! Now, walks a plesantly dressed lady who introduces herself as Carolyn, sales manager. We again go thru the same SAT questions... and asked about our current cars and how many miles and how many kids and blah... blah... blah... I politely told her that we are not interested in trading our vehicle. Period. She went over our choice of vehicles - accord and civic. She then proceeded to suggest that we are fit for a civic... I am like, Uh??? Our Question: What are the current incentives on cars by both your dealership and honda? Carolyn: It changes everyday... It is not the same. So, how much would you like to put down for the car? Us: So, as a sales manager, you are NOT aware of any incentives for any of your vehicles, is that what you are saying? Carolyn: Yes, it does change everyday!!! Also, if you buy now, I can sell you the civic LX for 15,995/-, plus taxes etc. Us: What about accord? Do you have any pricing on that? Carolyn: Well, the civic is going to cost you 15,995/- and accord is going to cost you more. Do YOU want to do businees NOW or WHAT? If you want we can go over the details now. If you come back later, the prices are going to be MORE. In this day and age, the sales people should realize that there are websites that can give a ton of info. to the customers.... This kind of behaviour and attitude of the dealer and their representatives are not tolerated - and the current economic conditions are not in their favor either. Just about now, I was getting annoyed, to say the least, and the person just got up to leave. I could see that annoyance was getting to anger and it was not a good sign. Well, we walked out of the door - never to step in there ever again. In the end, it turns out that the dealership decides which car they should be sell and get customers to buy them. A complete waste of 3 hours of our time. 1. No sales person shows up to help you. Saw another gentleman talking with the receptionist and complaining that he spoke with Stephanie too and was asked to come at a certain time... and that he was waiting for a long time. 2. They need to work on their listening skills - first it was with the explanation of the models and the same mistake was repeated when we were NOT allowed to test drive. 3. Sales Manager needs a good lesson in mannerisms and need to understand that a few clicks or a call to honda will empower customers. Again, lack of listening skills and due consideration. Over all, they need to understand that whoever buys/leases a car over there, they are willing to spend at least a minimum of 15K and that it is not a piece of candy that you buy in a bodega. It is a lot of money and they need to respect that. A car is something that will stay with you for a while, in our case, until it breaks down! Follow up: Stephanie called us on Monday to follow up. During my visit on saturday 04/11/2009 I was asked to pay $500 and was told that the amount will be fully refunded if I don't like the APR and the monthly payment amount. Later today 04/13/2009 they came with an option something called ballon loan or straight option for 48 months with 17.5% interest, since the monthly payments and the APR was too high I refused the deal, the manager Mr. Mohamed Choudary then said thats what he can offer. Since I cannot offord that huge monthly payments I asked my money $500 and he said there is no money could be refunded either you take the deal or forget the $500, as I said I will have to file for a charge back he said let me see how you get the money back.
