A very happy experience all the time; they are very professional and honest. I've had all my service done at this dealership with the exeption of two which was done in my area. Hillside seems to have professional and honest. I've had all my service done at this dealership with the exeption of two which was done in my area. Hillside seems to have a very good organized system in place; 99% of the time they have you out within their estimated time. Hillside is where I purchased my Civic; I'm not even a Queens resident. I don't mind the trip for service. I feel that My Honda is in good hands. I give all Service reps high marks. I recommend this dealer to all my friends. More

Let's tell the tale of the Element 2009 LX. Shopped on line and got pricing from Hillside Honda and Plaza Honda. Since I had a car to trade, I needed to be well versed in negotiations on both sides of the line and got pricing from Hillside Honda and Plaza Honda. Since I had a car to trade, I needed to be well versed in negotiations on both sides of the fence. Needless to say, do NOT go to Hillside Honda if you have a car to trade in. They pay nothing for used cars! I had a better offer at Plaza Honda, but it was still low. We decided to sell our car on Craigslist and got over $4K MORE than what Hillside had offered us. So now we are buying the 2009 Element LX and we are paying cash! Let the offers begin. After 3 plus hours at Hillside they claimed they would sell us an Element for $18,700, which was a bogus offer on a 2WD model WITHOUT destination charges, etc. So we left and went to Plaza Honda again. They offered us the Element LX 2wd for $19,995 with the destination charges all in a record 15 minutes! At that time we left and gave it a few days. We then called Plaza Honda and explained we wanted a 2009 Element 4WD LX and were paying cash. The price was now $19,500 for the Element we wanted! We went back to Hillside Honda only because they were closer and told them what Plaza had offered us. They claimed it was impossible for Plaza to sell us the vehicle for that amount and that they (Plaza) would hit us with "hidden" fees later. We were at Hillside and placed a call to our salesperson at Plaza Honda and went over EVERYTHING in front of Werner (Sales person) and were advised that Plaza WAS going to sell us the Element for that price. Now here comes Mario the Manager and he said that the price was VERY low and he had to make a phone call to see if they would "match" the price. Mario came back about 5 minutes later and said they would match it! So we signed the papers! After 3 1/2 weeks we finally called Mario to see where our Element was. He advised us that they were going to do a trade and that our car would be at Hillside Honda in a day or so. He claimed it was coming in from a dealer in Conn. He gave us VIN # for our insurance company. Wife and I went to Hillside Honda on June 30th to drop off plates and sign some papers so we could pick up Element on July 1st. bad move for us, we arrived about 6:30 pm and were not allowed to leave until 9:15 pm because Hillside had to meet their quota for the month of June!! They hassled us to death with bogus paperwork to make themselves look good for the month of June. In the meantime, we come to find out that the VIN# that was given to us was bogus and that the Element came from Riverhead Long Island and when we inspected the vehicle it was filthy. We complained about the condition of the vehicle and showed Werner all the "sand" and "dirt" that was all over the place, under the hood in engine compartment and all on the undercarriage. They refused to hose off the dirt and proceeded to "clean" or "prep" vehicle using a spray bottle and a rag. I also noted a problem with a piece of molding which the Prep Dept. tried to fix buy placing a drywall screw between the molding and the body to shim it out. Point I am trying to make is that the Prep job was the worst. I later found that all the tires had different air pressures in them and that my dome lights did not function at all. I DID find a fuse in the glove box and it took me exactly 43 seconds to install fuse back into fuse box under hood to get domes lights working. I know that they removed the fuse so if door is left open it won't kill the battery. What if I did not know how to do all these repairs? Prep dept gets a big ZERO!!! In closing, if you NEED to purchase from Hillside Honda: be prepared to WAIT a long time while doing the deal and then again while picking up the vehicle. Make sure the vehicle YOU want is IN the showroom, this way you know it will be cleaned or Prepped properly. All they did was match the price of Plaza and I certainly paid for it in time and frustration. I would not recommend this dealer, best to go to Plaza as I should have done. I did business with Plaza before and it went smooth as silk. Take the advice from the X Files: "TRUST NO ONE" More

From my first purchase back in 2007. I have recieved great customer service. The salesmen ask you your dislikes and are very concern about your needs, when purchasing a vehicle. They make sure the cust great customer service. The salesmen ask you your dislikes and are very concern about your needs, when purchasing a vehicle. They make sure the customer is comfortable and satified with the product. All employee's at Honda greet you with smiles on their faces, and no one is to busy to answer any customer's questions. I felt confident and proud, when i drove off the lot with my brand new 2010 Honda Pilot. The finance manager worked extremely hard in getting me a note that i could not only afford but was comfortable paying. She made sure i was satified with the end results. I would like to thank all the Hillside Honda staff for making customers feel appriecated. I would definitely recommend this dealership to my friends and family for their excellent quality of service. One of the reasons I went to this dealer were good reviews on dealerrater.com, it did not materialize for me. Avoid Tony Curreri at any cost he will lie to you and try to rip you off. He is very disho reviews on dealerrater.com, it did not materialize for me. Avoid Tony Curreri at any cost he will lie to you and try to rip you off. He is very dishonest and manipulative person, he goes and manager every 5 minutes and pretends he is negotiating a price for you while cheat chatting with other sells executives. He has a computer in front of him but he goes to manager to check inventory and it takes him 20min (of course, they have the model BUT it is last one in stock) One day he gives a quote for 17.5k but when you are ready to purchase it goes up to 19k. At points it was really laughable, I could go on and on with examples. They are using old tricks that most people are aware of. At the end it was not about the price but about dishonesty, deception, and old good LYING. More

A smooth quick sale. Everything was efficient and the price fair. The salesman very friendly and helpful. No wasted time and no games. I would not hesitate to buy another car this way, in fact it's the price fair. The salesman very friendly and helpful. No wasted time and no games. This was my best car buying experience ever. Everyone I dealt with was courteous and professional. In addition, I got a terrific price on my new 2009 ACCORD. Any question I had was answered right away. The dealt with was courteous and professional. In addition, I got a terrific price on my new 2009 ACCORD. Any question I had was answered right away. The whole process was low key, and, contrary to most of my previous car purchases, I didn't walk out of the dealership feeling that I had been screwed. After the purchase, I was kept informed of the progress of the car as it went through preparation and delivery. When time came for the pickup of the car, filling out the paperwork was pretty much a breeze. Donald had everything ready for me. I felt none of the usual pressure to sign up for lots of extra services. Donald also spent over an hour taking me through all of the car's features. I would recommend this dealership to anyone. More
Hillside Honda Management, I originally asked for an Hillside Honda Management, I originally asked for an internet quote. A lady form your internet department called and I said I had a price of $22,900 Hillside Honda Management, I originally asked for an internet quote. A lady form your internet department called and I said I had a price of $22,900 for an Odyssey EX from another Honda dealer and I asked if Hillside would be competitive with this price. She said yes. I had visited your showroom and spoke with Kyle. He said that you couldn't come anywhere near the price I had been quoted and never did offer me a price for the car. We spent an hour and a half discussing this and I finally left. I understand that Kyle could not come to that price and I respect that. I don't however respect the fact that someone from the internet department lied to me when they said they could be competitive with the price I had. It is now obvious to me that I was told this just to get me to visit your dealership. I continued to receive email advertising from Stephanie. I responded back to Danielle as follows: "Dear Danielle, I am looking to buy an Odyssey EX from you. I have submitted an inquiry for an Internet quote from your office. I have never rec'd this quote. I have been to your office and have spoken with Kyle and we did not come to terms on the price. Your office continues to send me emails and as per below. I have received one from you, one automated response from your computer and 9 from Stephanie. I sent one back to Kyle and Stephanie and have not heard from either one of them. Your system seems to work one way. You send out messages but you do not answer incoming emails. Maybe if your office were to contact me as per my request, we could come to terms on a car. If you do not want to sell me a car, then remove my email from your records. I am hoping you will contact me. Rgds, Paul Mott" Today I received more advertising and it gave me the chance to rate you as a dealer. I am giving you the lowest possible rating because I should have recieved an email or at least another phone call. But as I said above, your system works one way and you don't seem to feel this is important. Rgds, Paul More
