April 2022 front wheel bearing went out and I took my 2014 Ram 1500 to Hill/Kelly for the repair. After all they have the technicians, special tools and parts for my truck. I paid the invoice and recei 2014 Ram 1500 to Hill/Kelly for the repair. After all they have the technicians, special tools and parts for my truck. I paid the invoice and received my truck. On the invoice it states I would have a two year unlimited miles warranty on the repair work. September 2023, 17 months after the work the left front wheel bearing is going out. I went to Hill/Kelly to talk about the warranty and replacing the left front wheel bearing under their warranty. The service adviser I spoke with that day tells me there is only a one year warranty on the AFTER MARKET wheel bearing they installed. I did not authorize nor was I aware Hill/Kelly technicians put an after market wheel bearing on my truck. It has been a month with going to Hill/Kelly and calling Hill/Kelly with promised call backs from Trent, The customer advocate seems to want to help, but so far no response to my request for Hill/Kelly as to why After Market parts were installed on my truck instead of MoPar parts and when they are going to honor the warranty stated on the invoice. Customers beware it appears what you think you paid good money for may not be what you actually got. I understand good work ain’t cheap and cheap work ain’t good. Took my Jeep in for a check engine light beginning of Feb. , asked for a master mechanic to do all work. Was laughed at. Told I needed 4 new cams , lifters and thermostat. I Approved all work. (Find out the mechanic is 25 years old) They put in an aftermarket thermostat without telling me, when I questioned it I was told they couldn't get Mopar thermostat. Check engine light continued to go off and on even after work was suppose to have been done. Jeep NEVER overheated until there service department touched my jeep. They replaced thermostat 3 times,(aftermarket)never did fix the cam problem. Jeep overheated now they say $12,000.00 for new engine after I'm all in at $8,333.00 already gave them for work they supposedly did. I reached out to GM NO response, owner of HK dodge NO response and to Brandi Pastor customer care advocate NO response . Paul Marchant dropped the ball big time on my jeep and refuses to take responsibility . Keep saying its the number of miles on my jeep a jeep I have meticulously taken care of. They refuse to honor the warranty on work already supposedly done. These people, zero morals, zero ethics. Karma is.... Run as fast as you can, these people are common criminals. If I could give no stars I would. UPDATE Vehicle at Hill kelly Dodge for 45 days. Told my block cracked due to it overheating. Never received a diagnostic as to what caused the overheating, just that it would be an additional $12,000.00 Plus to replace cracked block. Took my Jeep to another shop. (Third) aftermarket thermostat stuck causing Jeep to overheat. Replaced with an OEM thermostat, no longer running hot. Block pressure checked numerous times, passed. Block not cracked. UPDATE New mechanic diagnosed the check engine light that has been going off and on since February . Hill Kelly's mechanic did not put timing chains on correctly after installing the new cams causing the timing to be misaligned. They refuse to acknowledge new mechanics findings. All issues were under a two year warranty. Filed a complaint with the BBB. More
