Very disappointed in Hill Country Honda's finance individual. This individual added unwanted warranties to my contract that I did not want. I want to advise potential car buyers to exercise caution when dealing with this particular dealership due to our negative experience. In August 2023, we purchased a new 2024 Honda CR-V from this dealersh when dealing with this particular dealership due to our negative experience. In August 2023, we purchased a new 2024 Honda CR-V from this dealership. During the purchase process, we were persuaded to buy Warranty and Gap insurance for $2500 and $500, respectively. Shortly after, we decided to cancel both policies and requested a refund on the second day. After considerable effort, we received a refund of $440 for the Gap Insurance, instead of the full $500, after 3-4 months. Despite numerous attempts to obtain a refund for the Warranty Insurance, we only learned in March 2024 that the warranty company had sent a refund check to the dealership on October 1, 2023. The dealership withheld this information and the check, despite our repeated contact. We finally received the refund in late March 2024, after more than 7 months. More
