Great experience! Brian was knowledgeable and helpful in demonstrating the features of my new Ascent - and they had a vehicle I could test drive! Huge plus! He even sent a confirmation text to her, confirming the appointment. She arrived on time, waited 20-30 minutes, finally Josh comes out and informs her the vehicle (the only one they have) is in the maintenance and she can’t see it (she has driven a hour, waited 30 minutes) and now is told the vehicle is on a lift, the technician is on lunch, and he doesn’t know when the vehicle can be seen. BUT on the bright side, he could order the vehicle and we could pay full MSRP, for a vehicle we can’t even touch or see. I realize they are selling vehicles well before they show up at the dealership, good for them, but as a consumer we lose. In talking with him, he discussed how many of their vehicles come in with engine issues and just how busy the technicians are fixing vehicles (something a potential new car buyer shouldn’t hear), and when they need to fix a vehicle, they just grab the keys and take it to the shop. Hmmm, I’ve got a solution, if you make a appointment with someone to look at the only type of vehicle you have, don’t let anyone touch it unless they’re getting it ready for the customer. I asked to speak with the manager about the visit, but only Josh would call me back. I was hopeful to buy/order a new vehicle from Hiley Subaru, but with this first impression I’m going to go out of my way to speak poorly and urge others to never go to Hiley. More
The new car sales guys were terrible. Charlie and Patrick are best at being babies and fighting over a sale they never had, than actually trying to help me. I’ve never had to try so hard to buy a car, more t are best at being babies and fighting over a sale they never had, than actually trying to help me. I’ve never had to try so hard to buy a car, more than I have from this place. I literally had to chase these guys down for TWO days to get them to sell me a car! (I didn’t buy one from EITHER of them.) They just couldn’t do their job. I spent my money elsewhere. This was to be my first Subaru. What a terrible experience from Hiley Subaru. Do yourself a favor, if you get connected with Charlie or Patrick, Hang up!! Run!! Drive away!! These guys are sleezy, lazy, and liars. More
Absolutely the worst experience we have EVER had in buying a vehicle! Lies, deception, lack of communication, and truly lack of concern for a certified vehicle! Do not be fooled by the sales tactics an buying a vehicle! Lies, deception, lack of communication, and truly lack of concern for a certified vehicle! Do not be fooled by the sales tactics and seeming compassion during the sales process! The highlight was the organization and ease of buying a 2020 Subaru Ascent with the finance guy. He was friendly and made it super easy and fast! We bought a used vehicle that they said they used for a loaner vehicle and it had 2 small rock chips that were beginning to spider. It was clearly there during the test drive. They agreed it would be fixed but didn’t have anyone who could fix it that day and would not put it in writing. Went a few rounds (not fun) with the manager and finally got it in writing. After weeks of not returning calls or no answer, it seems they had no intention of fixing it. Decided to fix it ourselves. After consultation, it seems the entire windshield needs to be replaced. No answer or return calls are getting old! We feel deceived! We are just requesting they hold to their word and make it right. We are giving them a little more time to make it right and replace the windshield. Scheduling far enough out for them to figure it out. We will see and I will update. I absolutely hate giving a bad review but feel the deception needs to be known by those that are considering buying such a large purchase. Get everything right before you buy! Do not trust they will hold to their word! More
