My husband and I visited Hiley Subaru in Fort Worth on the evening of September 21, 2024, intending to purchase a Subaru Ascent Onyx and pay cash for the vehicle. After discussing trade-in values for our the evening of September 21, 2024, intending to purchase a Subaru Ascent Onyx and pay cash for the vehicle. After discussing trade-in values for our 2019 Ascent Touring with a floor manager, we were shocked to be offered $9,000, far below the Kelley Blue Book range of $14,000–$16,000. The manager's attitude quickly turned condescending when we questioned the offer, quoting inflated numbers and dismissing our concerns. Even more concerning was the discriminatory behavior we witnessed. The manager was dismissive and disrespectful to an elderly Caucasian woman and other customers of different races, who also left without making purchases. His treatment of these individuals raised serious concerns about bias and unfair treatment. Following this experience, I attempted to email Hiley Subaru’s management, only to have my emails blocked immediately. This unprofessional conduct cost your dealership our business.
