My Review Of Hiley Audi Volkswagen Of Huntsville: I My Review Of Hiley Audi Volkswagen Of Huntsville: I bought a 2008 Mazda Speed3 with almost 60k miles on Monday 3/11/13, when driving from the dealers My Review Of Hiley Audi Volkswagen Of Huntsville: I bought a 2008 Mazda Speed3 with almost 60k miles on Monday 3/11/13, when driving from the dealership back home (Birmingham), the first gear started to pop back out, it was after 8pm, had to get home because I had to go to work the next morning, next day I could not drive the car, it would not take the gears so I decided to take it to a shop after work, so I did, the news was THE FIRST GEAR IS GONE, I immediately called Joel, he said he would call me back the next day, he did around 11am, at this point I could not sit and wait so I called Mazda in Birmingham and the towing service and they took it, and they said THE FIRST AND THIRD GEAR ARE GONE, the TRANSMISSION must be taken apart and replace all the parts, it would take a week to have it done, so I don't have a car, I have to miss work, might lose my job, I tried to reach out to Hiley Mazda for help since I don't trust this car anymore, I don't want it, I want to take it back and off course they won't take it back, just got off the phone with Melvin, he was RUDE, INTERRUPTED ME WHILE I WAS STILL TAKING, TRIED TO MAKE EXCUSES FOR SOMETHING THAT DOES NOT HAVE AN EXCUSE, THE MAZDA SERVICE EXPERT TOLD ME THAT THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN IN JUST ONE MINUTE, THEY HAD TO KNOW THAT THIS WAS ABOUT TO HAPPEN AND THEY KNEW, WHICH MAKES THE SITUATION EVEN WORST, THEY TRIED TO SELL ME AN EXTENDED WARRANTY FOR $2500 WHEN THE CAR STILL HAD SOME DRIVETRAIN WARRANTY ON IT, BECAUSE THEY KNEW THE TRANSMISSION WAS ABOUT BE DONE AT ANY GIVEN MOMENT BUT MELVIN SAID: "I AM NOT GOING TO HELP YOU, I AM NOT TAKING THE CAR BACK, AND SAID THIS CAN HAPPEN TO ANY CAR AT ANY TIME" . Really? so besides all this they really believe people are stupid. All I wanted to do was return this car back to them and maybe purchase a new car from them, but with no support from them, I will not buy another car from them and will advise anyone I know to steer clear of Hiley Mazada. I know cars can be returned withing a few days of purchased because I have several friends who have purchased a vehicle and not satisfied with it and simply returned it. Nothing was wrong with the car and the dealer took it back. How about that... Hiley wont even take back a car that is going to have a new tranny in it, I was trying to give it back to them better than they sold it to me. So a word to the wise. Stay away from them. More
Before I bought our Miata, I went to "interview" the dealership. I quietly asked other customers their opinions of Hiley's service, customer service, and their overall experience. Two actually said they would go no where else in North Alabama to buy a car! Even though my salesperson, Tairon Payne, was new and was also with the Audi/VW side of the dealership, he followed up with me, answered all my questions, and found a co-worker from the Mazda dealership to finalize the details. My Miata and I have seen Shane in the service department only one time for routine service...a much, much better experience than I have had at other dealerships over the years! I would highly recommend Hiley to anyone. More
I would like to thank Keith Robinett for the job he did on making my car purchase easy. Im from out of town and saw the car we wanted online. I want to single out Keith Robinett for his excellent salesmanship. I traveled 150+ miles (despite having a Mazda dealership in my hometown) to purchase the MAZDA3 from Hiley because of his direct no-no salesmanship. He is considerate, understands what I'm looking for, and goes out of his way to ensure that I purchase a vehicle without a lot of pressure from anyone. I'm not an easy person to deal with with regard to purchasing automobiles, but Keith definitely knows how I perceive things and has been extremely helpful in every way possible. I went back to Hiley and bought this second car from Keith mostly because Mazda makes an excellent car for our needs and he was so professional to work with. We bought a new Mazda3 Skyactiv the first t Keith mostly because Mazda makes an excellent car for our needs and he was so professional to work with. We bought a new Mazda3 Skyactiv the first time and we traded our 2000 Miata for a 2011 Miata PRHT that Keith just took in on trade. They are both great cars and the buying experience is pleasant and easy. They gave me a great price on both cars and super financing. I highly recommend Hiley and Keith Robinett. More
Purchased a new vehicle at Hiley Mazda and never did I expect such excellent customer service. My dealer, Justin Draper, was very knowledgeable about each vehicle and the sales process.
