The entire dealership made the car buying process more enjoyable then most and everyone was very friendly. They don’t care about you once you’ve purchased the car I have had the worst experience at this dealership and I would not recommend going here. I went to get my car on 5/25/18 and had been speaking to Charolette (the internet sales manager) and she met us when we got there and showed us the exact car I would be getting. It started off great. She passed us to another sales person (I can’t remember his name) who had a pack of cigarettes on his desk and was not very interested. He had me fill out all my info on his computer and since I was purchasing the CX5 sport it only comes with cloth seats but I chose to add on the leather which they would have to special order. They could not find the swatches anywhere and asked me to order without actually seeing the colors. Finally after about an hour of looking they offered to show me cars with the leather already in it. This seemed fine but then they only had one color to show me. It was actually the one I liked so I chose it. Then we started talking about financing and they ‘accidentally’ had doubled the tax when calculating my monthly payments. Once they realized this happened they corrected it but since this is such an important part of the process it made me so nervous and not trust the financing part of the transaction. Everything worked out and we left. They had to order the leather and said it would be in on Tuesday. (I bought the car on Friday) I didn’t hear from them all week and finally on Thursday I called Charlotte , she said they may have ordered the wrong color so she would call me back on Monday of the next week. I felt like my new car wasn’t complete without the leather and as disappointing as this was I agreed to have her call me back Monday. Monday comes and I still don’t get a phone call from Charlotte. Today is Tuesday and I had to call her. She said oh yes it’s here..? Never bothered to communicate and literally laughed when I told her how disappointed I was. It’s so upsetting. As excited as I as to have a Mazda for the first time this experience makes me want to return it and choose another brand. Be very cautious when car shopping at Hiley Mazda! More
