I dealt with Mike Bennett and couldn’t ask for a better professional yet so down to earth and honest..That went along way with me making my experience buying a truck the BEST and most memorable one I’ll probably ever have! I would travel if need be just to have this experience again! Michael welcomed us, offered his assistance and gave us the space and time to look around while being available for us the minute we had questions. Michael was friendly, genuine, polite, respectful, and knowledgeable about the in and out of the car we wanted. Thank you Michael for your service! This has been the best experience we have ever had at a dealership and of course we will definitely go back to purchase our second vehicle. Fast, efficient, and affordable!!!! The price of the van was very competitive and priced to sell. No haggling required to get a fair deal. Our salesman, Michael Bennett, was excellent to deal with and was not a "high pressure" salesman. Very quick response time to email even when he was on his scheduled day off. Charlie Howell was also very helpful as he took care of all the purchase order paperwork so I could have a seamless pickup when Michael was scheduled back to work. I would highly recommend this dealership & Michael, for your next used car purchase. Jim C More
From just browsing and inquiring, mike and Charlie were very helpful. Most car salesmen are very pushy, but mike and Charlie weren’t. They worked with me, made sure it was the car I wanted to purchase, and very helpful. Most car salesmen are very pushy, but mike and Charlie weren’t. They worked with me, made sure it was the car I wanted to purchase, and made the entire transaction worthwhile. I would absolutely recommend this dealership, the cars are awesome, the staff is awesome, and the overall experience is just a blessing. Mind you, I came from New York for my purchase, so that there alone should say a lot. This was by far the best dealer I’ve ever brought a car from and will definitely do it again in the future. Thank you MIKE AND CHARLIE, you guys are awesome!!!! 5 stars all the way!!! More

A very long story about bad service. In Summer of 2019 We needed to replace our old minivan and we got a used Nissan Rogue which we love from Napoli Nissan in Milford, CT . We have purcha In Summer of 2019 We needed to replace our old minivan and we got a used Nissan Rogue which we love from Napoli Nissan in Milford, CT . We have purchased 5 cars there. Had a good experience. We both hate to buy cars so I think that’s why we stick with Napoli because they are familiar. Only a few weeks later our Kia Sportage , which my wife loved and we had only had for 16 months, got broadsided by a large suv when some kid blew through two stop lights. Some injuries occurred and of course that car was totaled. The Nissan purchase and the accident occurred in the same month. So we find ourselves once agin shopping for a car. So I research, research , research, so I will be an informed consumer. Online used car shopping for hours. Do my homework. I find a make and model I like, the years I like and the mileage I am comfortable with. I find a car In Waterbury. I check reviews of the dealer ; Highline Car Connection and they are all good. I walk in there knowing what a good price for the car would be. I speak to Mike Bennett. Mike was friendly and not pushy. I test drive a 2015 Chevy Equinox. I kick the tires and make an offer. They accept. I have to tap dance with the loan financing because the totaled KIA is still on on my credit and has not been paid out by the insurance co. While waiting for my financing the owner Lou is on the phone. He is obviously dealing with an unhappy customer. He is short, curt and not friendly with the customer on the phone. After he hangs up he tells me “never pitch the xxxxx” which is a reference to the movie Boiler Room basically saying don’t sell to women. Lous a big dude so I keep my mouth shut. I buy the car to pick up the next day. Before I leave, Lou comments on my Hamilton the Musical t shirt I am wearing which has the names of the founding fathers on it. He asks me “is that some kind of Hillary shirt?”. I explain what it is again keeping my mouth shut and he sends me on my way. I will pick up the car tomorrow. The next day I get dropped off and take the car to pick up my kids for an appointment. Come out of the appointment and the car won’t start and every warning light and alarm you can imagine is going off. Also the satellite radio won’t work. I call the dealer. They say come back. I say it won’t start. I want them to come and get me. I only left there 40 minutes ago. They suggest I call AAA. I do. AAA starts the car but the car is insane. Literally the car is possessed with all the alarms and warnings still firing . Also it’s POURING rain and thunder. I Drive 40 mins to the dealer in torrential downpours. The car intermittently loses power steering and ABS while I am driving through the bad weather. I sit and wait for the car to be looked at. I sit for 4 hours. They think they have it fixed. Then I sit in it and as soon as I start it again with the demonic possession. They give me a beat up loaner car. Now For the next 7-10 days I spend on the phone trying to get their service manager to speak to me. During this entire 5 week ordeal never once did Highline call me. I always called them. They have no idea what is wrong. They replace the instrument computer. That doesn’t fix anything. When I call the service manager says I won’t get to it today because “ we had a lot of sold cars today to prep”. I lose my cool and shout at him “I am a sold car! sold a week ago!”. Finally it goes to the local Waterbury Chevy dealership. They think they find the problem. The main computer needs replacing. I’m thinking I bought a lemon. But CT lemon law says I get 60 days. Historically this make and model car does not have problems like this. As we are leaving for a planned vacation so I have to go to the Waterbury Chevy dealer to get some things out of the car and the nice folks there assure me it will be all right. They were excellent! They called me regularly. But it will take a few days. I leave for vacation. Highline calls me 5 days into my vacation to say I can come pick it up. I tell them I won’t be home for another week and Also “don’t forget about the radio!”. I come back home and try and start the loaner car but the battery is dead in my driveway ! Dead ! Have to call AAA again so I can return this junker and get my car. I arrive after calling to confirm and the car isn’t ready. They have not picked it up from Chevy and they have to button up the dash. I wait 3 hours. I leave with the car go home. Later that day the car again goes crazy. The problem has not been fixed. I take it right back to Highline. Again I wait. This time 2 hours. Sitting in the tiny waiting room and making small talk with Mike. Mike is pleasant and tries to make the best of it for me. I know it’s not his fault. Finally the service guy (whose name I have forgotten) says they are going to bring it back to Chevy. I ask ho I am going home. Lou tells me to rent a car that he will pay for it. He says there is a rental place down the street they have an account with. One of the service guys drops me. I assumed (stupid me) that the rental was reserved and was going in account with Highline. Not a chance. They had no idea who I was or why I was there. I got the last car they had. I had to charge it to my own credit card. They ask how long a rental. Lou told me 4 days. I had the rental car for 10 days. I call the service dept. everyday looking for an update. They either don’t answer or they say no news. Again never, ever did they call me. I always had to call them. So instead of being blown off I started calling the Chevy dealer and dealt with them myself. If no one from Highline was going to help me I was going to help myself. 10 days in the shop at a Chevy. They find a short in a computer connection. They were very thorough and fixed the problem. Over the 10 days the car has been in the Chevy shop I find out that Lou has fired his service manager and promoted a younger guy on his team to be the new manger. I know the car is done because I have been calling Chevy. I call Highline to ask when I can get the car. They don’t call me back. I have to extend the rental another day. The next day I speak with Mike he says to come and get the car. I have to have someone follow me to the rental car and drop me off. I pay my rental bill and then I have to be dropped at Highline. Again, they are not ready for me. I have to wait an hour. Finally they pull the car up. I start it and wait a while to make sure it’s fixed. It seems ok. I tell Mike I won’t leave until they give me a check for the rental car. Lou cuts me a check. And when I drive off 20 mins down the road I notice the XM radio still does not work. I crack the dash and fix it myself. The entire time I dealt with Highline I never dealt with Lou. He never got on the phone. When I came in those multiple times, sitting for hours in their waiting room, he barely acknowledged me. This is a very small dealership; 2 sales guys and the owner. The Service manager that they fired was an idiot. He deserved to lose his job. The car I have I really like. It’s a good car and I got it for a good price. Mike was good but I felt his hands were tied. The lack of communication, the lack of any kind of urgency, the fact that twice I had to call AAA in order to buy this car, the fact that I had to put out my own money to rent a car and the lack of apology from the owner is why I would never buy another car from Highline. Nor, would I recommend them to anyone. There are too many other dealers out there who will treat me better. Like the Buick GMC dealer in Watertown who fixed my car. I’m sure after I drove off the last time they told the customer waiting that I was the xxxxx they shouldn’t have pitched. More
