Great Prices - Poor Communication Found the vehicle I wanted at HGreg, submitted an inquiry and received an initial response fairly quickly. But then once I attempted to start the purc Found the vehicle I wanted at HGreg, submitted an inquiry and received an initial response fairly quickly. But then once I attempted to start the purchasing process online, nothing. Uploaded the required documents, no response. Placed numerous phone calls and was eventually told even though the vehicle was listed as available, it was in the shop and not actually available. Nobody could give me any information as to why it was in the shop or when it would be ready. Was even told that they couldn’t even make any promises if I would be able to purchase once available. Overall terrible communication, I was the one hounding them to purchase. Maybe because of their no haggle business model, but seemed like they could care less if I purchased from them. Eventually my persistence paid off and after over a week was told the car was available. Had my own independent financing, already had insurance, but purchasing process still took over 4hrs. Vehicle was bone dry, literally computer read 0 miles remaining. They eventually did put a few gallons in it for me. However besides the poor communication and lengthy process, I ended up with a very nice car, priced thousands less than other dealers, and didn’t have to haggle to get there. The salesman I dealt with was pleasant though. Even though it is a no haggle dealership, in addition to the $899 dealer fee, they did still try to add several thousand dollars in a warranty by playing with the numbers, but didn’t push too hard when I politely declined. They also pulled a fast one on me at the last minute, throughout the whole process my salesman had a key ring with two keyfobs sitting on his desk, so I didn't even think to ask, but then after everything was said and done we were only handed one. When I asked for the other I was told they only had one, and I get what they get. My fault for not asking in the beginning, shouldn't have assumed just because he had two on his desk, but seemed a little sneaky, wish they had just disclosed that up front so I wasn't caught off guard (these keyless entry and push start transponders are several hundred dollars). Despite these complaints I much prefer their business model over traditional dealers. Great cars at great prices, would just ask for a more streamlined process and better communication. Overall would recommend to anyone looking for a vehicle. More
