Absolutely no pressure during the sale which was greatly appreciated since it’s stressful enough already going through the buying process for the first time. He paid attention to exactly what I was looking for and helped me narrow some options down to find the perfect vehicle within my budget with the exact features I was looking for. EDIT: While I don’t want to take away from the excellent customer service my sales consultant provided, since my experience with the finance manager in buying my vehicle I will no longer recommend or be a repeat customer at Heyward Allen Toyota. It makes a huge difference when you are kind and clear and upfront with your customers, and I experienced none of these with the finance department at Heyward Allen. Instead of a greeting I was called for across the dealership with a “I’m ready for you” no mention of my name or anything. I can’t imagine if I called my patients back from our welcome area like that for their appointments… Couldn’t even walk 15 or 20 feet from their desk to come greet me stayed comfortably seated in their chair. They sneakily told me I was signing for a warranty but were hesitant to disclose the details of said warranty when I asked exactly what was covered. I was shown only the signature screen on the iPad and not the terms I was actually signing for which I should have been wary of but trusted the persons answers when I asked questions about it. The terms of my entire initial agreement were also changed without my acknowledgement due to this and I was told when I asked questions “the monthly payment only goes up a few dollars”. Yep- because they extended my terms AND changed my interest rate without telling me. More
