Charles was fantastic to work with. He was able to find a specific vehicle for my family. Toyota was not allowing special orders at the time we were looking due to natural disaster in S12 in Japan. Thankfully, James and the entire Heyward Allen staff obviously understand what it means to be professional, and it shows throughout the entire process. If you are the kind of person that expects honesty and a straight-forward approach to business, then James and Hayward Allen are exceptional when compared against other car dealerships. I would rate the entire experience as refreshing. Heyward Allen is clearly taking the customer-service oriented high road to sales and service. Too often car sales are viewed as adversarial, with customers trying to figure out invoice prices and barter the dealer into submission...dealers are also guilty of all kinds of tomfoolery. What I believe is that both the dealer and customer should independently ponder what they need to remain whole in the agreement, and then see if there is a fit...this is business the proper way. I also appreciated that the finance manager John Dispoto was restrained and direct in his approach and all business...I appreciated his brevity and professional demeanor. In addition, James' colleague Rachel Callis also was invaluable, responsive, and kind. They worked as a team and that was nice to see. What many dealerships seem to miss is that the little things are telling to customers...Heyward Allen is sensitive to the subtleties of customer relations. They seemed to be genuinely interested in helping me find a vehicle that met all of my qualifications. It is unfortunate that they were unable to find my Toyota for me.
