I bought my brand new Chevy Malibu in 2017. Desperate for a car to get from and to my new job I was vulnerable. It was my first time purchasing at a dealership. As stupid as this sounds I was offered the $22 a car to get from and to my new job I was vulnerable. It was my first time purchasing at a dealership. As stupid as this sounds I was offered the $22000 “special” and when the dealer took me to the lot he told me to “pick a color” I picked Arctic blue. After 6 hours of paperwork (I know that this is on me) I signed up for a $29000 car. After driving home exhausted and excited (mixed emotions) I realized the price. I went back the next day to ask the seller and he told me “you picked the LT model” .. although he never mentioned any features of my new car .. misleading me to believe I had the $22000 special.. not even a year later while in auto stop my car turned off .. the battery was fine ... the lights and music were still on yet I needed a jump to get going again .. after 1.5 year of back and forth with Chevy and 3 times of cleaning my “clogged throttle body” I was told to use premium gas and I should be fine ... to this day I used the same basic gas and my car never shut off again.. because I don’t let it sit in auto stop mode at red lights anymore! So I do believe I was sold a bad model! Today I went to get my brakes fixed and they told me $509 to “fix the sound” I declined ... when I called back to ask a question a guy who was not my representative said “oh your the one who said you’ll just take your car somewhere else” .. so that means service rep Keenan gossiped about my situation right after our phone conversation to another rep.. once home I read my paperwork and they wanted to charge $509.28 just for the back brakes and rotors or “to fix the noise” as Keenan said and another $549.47 for the front brakes and rotors. Never going here again they are misleading and dishonest and don’t have your best interest in mind. More
I’m normally not one to leave reviews unless my experience is extremely good or extremely bad, and this review is the latter. I was interested in a lease deal on Chevrolet’s website for a 2021 T experience is extremely good or extremely bad, and this review is the latter. I was interested in a lease deal on Chevrolet’s website for a 2021 Tahoe 4WD LT w/signature package, $579/m for 36 months with $6,029 due at signing. The price Chevrolet used was based on $61,985 which is the $56,800 base price 4WD LT Tahoe and signature package of $5,685 and a -$500 discount for the package. The lease is for 10,000miles/yr. Destination, taxes, tags, dealer doc fee and registration are not included in the above price. I called Hessert Chevrolet about the lease deal and they asked if this was on THEIR website or on Chevrolet’s website, so I told them it was Chevrolet’s. Hessert has a Tahoe on their lot with $740 more in options ($370 were dealer installed and could be removed) and I was asking about a 15,000miles/yr lease for 36m instead of 10,000miles but those are the only differences. The woman I spoke with was not a salesperson and was very pleasant but not very knowledgeable. She said she had the sales manager run the numbers, but she was unable to answer any questions I had so she wanted the sales manager to call me back so he could answer any questions. The deal she gave me was $832/m for 39 months with $6,029 due at signing with 15,000miles/yr. I told her I asked for 36 months and she told me that would be more per month. I was also asking why the payment was so high and she didn’t know. When the sales manager called me, he immediately started with an aggressive/negative attitude, which is not the way to handle me because I will give the attitude right back. I was trying to ask a question about the numbers because they weren’t adding up and he cut me off 3 times just saying “I wasn’t getting it”…..again, NOT the way to handle me. Maybe I wasn’t getting it, but if that was the case explain the numbers and do not keep cutting me off and telling me that I don’t get it……justify your numbers. Based on the lease offer on Chevrolet’s website with $579/m for 36 months and $6,029 down I was estimating that payment would’ve been in the mid 600’s including the destination, tax, tags, dealer doc, and registration (I was doing numbers in my head while he was cutting me off, after I got off the phone and wrote them down I think the payment would’ve actually been around $700/m) So I was asking him why would the additional 5,000 miles per year be so much more money per month? He was talking about a lower residual value etc., which I get, but the numbers still were not adding up. LONG story short, I don’t think they wanted to give the lease deal that was on Chevrolet’s website and were trying to play fast and loose. Luckily, we were at a BMW dealer ship when the call happened, so we got a 2021 X4 M40i. Just picked it up and they put a big red bow on the roof. The BMW dealer was telling us the mileage difference them was only about $50/m so the numbers Hessert were giving were still at least $100-150/m too high. My recommendation would be to go someplace else. If that was the sales manager, he had the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with and he didn’t seem on the up and up. More
The mechanics doing maintenance here tried to scam me. I confronted the guy at the desk who tried to tell me that a light bulb for my Buick was a ballast. Two completely different items and I sincerely hope it was just a mistake on his part rather than an attempt to take advantage of me, which I highly doubt. After telling him I wasn’t sure how I felt about everything, he eagerly told me to take my car and leave. I think I caught him in the act and he was hoping I wouldn’t make a big deal out of it. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody. More

Just a Great place to service your car. Keenan, Service advisor is always great. Mr. Kay, Service manager, is very pleasant and cordial. Service Team, Mr. Deshaun, ,gets 5 stars. So does Bob,5 stars, who always makes sure My car is more than great and safe to go. Other Service members are just as awesome. Last visit, Service Mechanic, Steve did my vehicle. Whatever issues I have, I leave the service center feeling confident and literally, like my Chevy is new again. It's a family- like atmosphere for me, that's why going for vehicle service is a pleasure, each time I need to. Customer since 2014 . My appreciation reciprocated by bringing them Jamaican snacks and soda, when I can and equally being nice. I feel confident after each service . Go now. More
