This is my first experience with Herzog service. They were pleasant , efficient and very thorough in their explanation of the service that was performed on our car. The back windows' defrosting wire had were pleasant , efficient and very thorough in their explanation of the service that was performed on our car. The back windows' defrosting wire had been broken. We were unsure as to how it happened and what the fix was. Doug was able to replace the window for us and all covered by warranty ! We are very pleased with the entire sales and service team. My only desire would be to have a loaner car for the day of service since the dealership is so far from my work. Thank you for the good work ! More
I am extremely disappointed in the quality of service we just received on a minor 52k mile tune up. Two days after the tune up we got a flat tire from a rock on our way down from Mount Hood. When the flat was being fixed the mechanic checked the other tires and found that they were all over inflated to almost 50psi. Recommended is only 36psi. This is almost 40% over the recommended pressure and not safe. Especially driving on ice which we do every week on Mt. Hood. In the work order receipt from Volvo it says they “inspected and adjusted tire pressure”. I wonder what else they did not do correctly. I have been taking my Volvo to the dealer for these services under the assumption I would get better quality service than going to the independent oil change franchise. While the cost is significantly higher I expected significant better quality of service. Even before this incident we were not happy with the service department. My wife will not even call their service department anymore to make an appointment. The individuals that answer the phones are condescending and rude to her. We have taken our car there many times over the years and each time it is the same level of service (poor and rude). I was also very disappointed to hear that Herzog has decided not to provide rides when cars are dropped off to Oregon’s largest employer. They will only cover a 5 mile radius and this employer’s largest site is 5.5miles. I also own an Audi which is across the street from Volvo and they have no problem driving me to work or giving me a loaner car for the day. We will be looking to do our business elsewhere for now on. More
About two weeks ago my warning message went from "Schedule Maintenance" to "Maintenance Overdue". When I was back in town I called and Doug told me that I have a 1500 mile window either way on sche "Schedule Maintenance" to "Maintenance Overdue". When I was back in town I called and Doug told me that I have a 1500 mile window either way on scheduled maintenance. My bad, I was at less than 300 miles to go. I live in Warrenton now and that would not get me there and back. Doug politely fit me in fro the following day. Also, had them check out a sticky buckle on the front passenger seat belt. They did not have one in stock but will call me as soon as it is in. They are always great at followups. Again outstanding service without surprises. More
Jacob was great to work with, I have used Herzog Meier in the past and the service was excellent. With Jacob, he was friendly, explained what was covered by warranty and what was not. After the car had been evaluated he made some suggestions but there was no hard sale tactic. I did not go with all of the the suggestions and there was no push back because I made sure that I understood what was needed vs. recommended. Thank you guys More
Another great visit - quick & complete! I needed my car by 1pm and they got it done before noon. They really care about my needs and want to make it a great experience. Was in a pinch with my warranty expiring. Nic Perez was exceptionally accommodating--getting me in and the both the warranty issue and the scheduled maintenance taken care of. Excellent service as always been the norm at Herzog Meier, but I really need to give a big thanks today to Allan Crandall. Allan is the service advisor and always patiently explains what I need for my car and why. Today, it was snowing at 18 degrees...and my head lamp bulb went out. On top of that I am hosting two out of state students this weekend and need to drive with working headlights. I pulled in and and Allan came running and within 5 minutes I was pulling out with a new light and was safe and happy. What I love is that Allan acts as if he is happy to do it...not that I put a jog in his workplan. Thanks again Allan...I so appreciate you! Pat K More
Brought car in for 30,000 mile service. Was checked in immediately. They got the shuttle vehicle to transport me home. My car was done on time. The shuttle vehicle picked me up and took me back to the Herzog-Meier Volkswagen service center. My 2013 Volkswagen Beetle TDI was ready to go. The service was perfect. They flushed the brakes, changed the oil, topped off all my fluids, and rotated my tires. My car is ready to go for 10,000 more miles! Great job! More
I stopped by Herzog-Meier this morning to see if they could fix a problem I was having with my windshield wipers. Jacob came out and immediately took a look, popped off the troublesome wipers and put n could fix a problem I was having with my windshield wipers. Jacob came out and immediately took a look, popped off the troublesome wipers and put new ones on for me in a matter of minutes. The whole staff was super helpful and I was really happy with the overall experience and quality and speed of service. More
