Awesome experience We were hesitant to buy a former rental from a rental company, but when we read it's actually not a bad idea on Edmunds, we decided we would take a lo We were hesitant to buy a former rental from a rental company, but when we read it's actually not a bad idea on Edmunds, we decided we would take a look at Hertz. We found a few cars online and noted the lower prices than any car dealership or the other giant used car lot down the street. We were looking for something with lower miles and 1-3 years old. They had several cars on the lot that fit our wish list. Our sales person Tony Colasacco was great. He was very accommodating, helpful and knowledgeable with all our questions, as well as very patient with all the test drives we did. What we didn't know is they do not work on commission, so they are interested in what your needs are, not their own pockets. We didn't buy that day as we went to other places to compare. We ultimately decided that the 2016 Ford Escape we found at Hertz was our best option. After putting a small deposit down, we were allowed to take it to our car repair guy for a pre-purchase inspection. There were 2 minor things that needed attention and Hertz had them fixed right away. Hertz does have a full inspection done prior to selling it. The process was very easy for us and the entire staff at Hertz were very nice but Tony was outstanding!!! We definitely would recommend Hertz Car Sales for any used car you are looking for. Very positive experience and great car for a great price. More

Tony went over the car with us and we were able to take it for a test ride and complete the paperwork efficiently. Tony contacted us after we picked up the car since he was on vacation. He was also helpful when we had a questions about another business in the area that we wanted to go to. The only complaint I would have was that the manager did not have the paperwork printed before we got there and we had to wait. We had an appointment (although the time was not when we wanted to go there), so I feel we should not have had to wait as long as we did. We wanted to get there earlier to avoid Hartford traffic. In the end, we are happy with the car and with the overall service. Thanks Tony! More
