She worked on it for over five hours and was so kind during the process! We finally got the financing figured out and I walked out with a great used Toyota Avalon at an even greater price! I was treated like an unwelcome guest. My experience at Hertz in Billings was very disappointing. Since I was alone and had 2 cars to drive home,I was forced to leave my wife's 1996 Tacoma at your car lot overnight. I was not happy about that but really had no other option. That night her truck was vandalized. When I spoke to the manager the next day all he said was that I had been warned and there was nothing he could do. I must say that I found him to be unpleasant to talk to. He also acted like he didn't have the time to do anything for me. I was not asking for any compensation, but he could have been a little sorry that it happened. The guy who wrote up the sales agreement was also unpleasant and later he lied about our finances in an effort to cover up his own mistake. He was too busy trying to sell extended warranties and such to pay attention to the deal at hand. I knew and your people should have known that I was buying the car regardless of what happened at the point of sale. We paid cash for the car, I didn't even negotiate the price because I hate doing that kind of stuff. That was why I came to Hertz in the first place. I feel that a rental car is an excellent way to buy a late model used car because of the almost daily service that it receives. We love the car but I am sorry to say that the buying experience was not very good. Thank you, Jim Reindahl alized. When we discovered the damage the next day we were both a little upset.
