On January 27th 2022 I took possession of a car that I just bought, a certified pre-owned Infiniti QX30 from Porter Infiniti of Newark, Delaware. The car was sold with the original bumper to bumper warra just bought, a certified pre-owned Infiniti QX30 from Porter Infiniti of Newark, Delaware. The car was sold with the original bumper to bumper warranty and I purchased the extended warranty. The car was sold supposedly with a 167 point inspection. The Carfax report stated the car had previously been in an accident to the front and front driver’s side of the car. I have had problems with the driver’s door camera each time it rains and a wind noise at highway speed, and when my car was due for its first service on 4/7/22 I took my car to Bennett Infiniti in Allentown, PA to be serviced, but to also take care of the camera under the warranty. Kevin Green the service Director at Bennett Infiniti said this was caused due to previous damage from the prior reported accident. That I should contact the dealership where I bought the car to have it fixed, because Infiniti would not cover this as warranty work. Mr. Green also discovered that the car was missing the “hood prop mount” and that I should ask the dealership where I bought the car to resolve this issue as well. I placed a call to Porter Infiniti on April 8th and spoke to a Taylor. I informed him there was a failure of the camera due to preexisting damage that should have been found during the certification process and that the car was missing a hood prop mount. I stated I wanted these problems fixed and for Porter Infiniti to pay for these repairs at Bennett Infiniti because I live 2 hours away from Porter and it would be difficult to make the commute back to Delaware. Taylor wanted to talk to Mr. Green first. I confirmed with Mr. Green that Taylor did talk to him about this issue. I never heard back from Taylor. I called Taylor again on April 14th and 18th and left messages, and Mr. Green at my request also called Taylor twice more to try to resolve this issue. Neither Taylor nor anyone else at Porter Infiniti has called us back. This is a certified pre-owned car that was supposed to have cleared inspection before sale, however the camera does not work properly and it is missing the hood prop mount. The dealer is now ignoring calls from me and another Infiniti dealership. I currently have Infiniti USA working on this as of 4/26/22. I have prepared a complaint to the Attorney General’s Office if needed. Sadly, this is what happens when you do business with Porter Infiniti. Don’t buy from Porter Infiniti they do not stand behind their so-called Certified Pre-owned cars nor do they bother to call customers or even other Infiniti dealers back. More
I have never dealt with a dealership like Porter Infiniti. From sales, Stu Swalheim, and service, Pat Gill to the general manager, Ed Gamiatoni, all bases are covered. When you buy a vehicle there Infiniti. From sales, Stu Swalheim, and service, Pat Gill to the general manager, Ed Gamiatoni, all bases are covered. When you buy a vehicle there you literally become part of the Porter family. I highly recommend Porter Infiniti, quality vehicles and staff. More
It's always a pleasure dealing with Porter Infiniti. Having a loner available is a great service. Dealing with Stu in sales and Patrick in service is why I'm now on my third Infiniti.
