Summary - Sales team = good experience, aftersales process = terrible experience; damage occurred to the car at the dealership lot, registration + title still not received after 3 months and terrible/ process = terrible experience; damage occurred to the car at the dealership lot, registration + title still not received after 3 months and terrible/heavily delayed communication response I recommend to AVOID purchasing a car at any Hertrich dealership if you want a smooth aftersales process based on my experience with them. Additionally, they don't take care of any damage occurred to the vehicle while in their possession so be ready to take care of any issues yourself. This is a mixed review because, on one hand, I had a good experience with the Sales team specifically with Sean Spillane, Skylar, and Sean Raspberry. On the other hand, this has been a terrible experience with the aftersales process in trying to obtain a resolve for damage that occurred while the car was still at the dealership, registration and title transfer. The sales process was great. Sean & Skylar was very accommodating through the sales process as I was an out of state buyer. I had lots of questions and needed time to make the travel to MD from CA to see the car in-person. The car checked out initially: very clean for a 2005 with ~80K miles, my inspection and PPI identified oil leaks from 3 issues, and the car ran very well in comparison to other Miata's I've driven. I purchased a PPI, as I always do for preowned cars, but the dealership was not willing to fix any of the issues which had numerous oil leaks. The others were fair based on the age of the car. I then bought this Miata (NB2) on January 14th. The car was kept at the dealership for 1-2 weeks while transport was being setup to pickup the car. During this time, there was a major snowstorm on the East Coast. 1) When transport arrived a couple weeks later, I noticed multiple damage on the passenger right side of the car (shown in photos). It looked like someone swiped the side of the car (possibly when a driver moved the car around at the lot they swiped it somewhere). Now, what was a very clean car for it's age is now damaged where bodywork is needed. The worse areas are the mud flap and part of the quarter panel where the paint is chipped off to the primer. The other areas seem like it is surface damage but still requires bodywork. When I brought this up to the dealership, the General Manager stated that they will not be offering a fix for the repair. A partial fix was not even offered. After they received my full payment for the car, it seems that's all they care about and any issues after sales doesn't matter. 2) For the past few months, I've been trying to obtain my registration and title for the car. As I fully paid off the car including paying a couple thousand in taxes for the registration transfer, they're supposed to complete the documentation and provide the registration and title on a timely manner. It is now 3 months later, and I still don't have both. I completed their requests for additional information for the registration. However, their communication has been absolutely terrible in this whole aftersales process. Particularly, the miscommunication between the accounting department and sales team is causing heavy delays for a proper move forward. From their response about the damage to the progress on the transfer, I'm having to constantly call and email them multiple times a week only to obtain that progress is still outstanding. Again, I bought the car on January 14th, and it is now April 21st, but I still don't have the registration and title. More
My family just purchased 4 vehicles form Hertrich Honda and Kia. They make car buying so easy. I really appreciate the patience that these salesman have. I can say I wasn't the best at knowing what I wante and Kia. They make car buying so easy. I really appreciate the patience that these salesman have. I can say I wasn't the best at knowing what I wanted. Instead of these gentlemen becoming upset or rude they were the complete opposite. They showed me that there are still some car dealerships that care and are not just trying to sell you a car. The patience, attentiveness and service is outstanding. My family thanks you so much. Thank you for making my husband shine!!!! God Bless You all. #THECOPPERS More

Great experience from start to finish I bought a beautiful new Honda Civic with the assistance of Sean Rasberry and general manager Mike McCauley. I love my new Civic! I found the pricin I bought a beautiful new Honda Civic with the assistance of Sean Rasberry and general manager Mike McCauley. I love my new Civic! I found the pricing fair and honest, not a lot of haggling, and really appreciated the ease in reaching the final price. Sean actually delivered the car and took away my old leased car. He explained all my questions about the car and was completely organized and professional. I would definitely buy from Hertrich Honda again. More

Service at car dealer I previously had good service at Honda Dealers. Hertrich Honda was a terrible experience. I called and let them know I would wait for service , they I previously had good service at Honda Dealers. Hertrich Honda was a terrible experience. I called and let them know I would wait for service , they gave me an appointment for 2PM . I arrived 10 min early and and was told 3 people were ahead of me and it would take another 45 minutes to change the oil. It took me 30 minutes to drive to the dealer ship and it turned out to be a bust I was obviously upset . I called the Manager on duty which was a wast of time. My Honda CRV is 5 years old and I am looking for new car. This is the only dealer near me so it looks like I will be buying a Toyata instead. I will never go back to this Dealer. More
I had been looking for a reasonably price car for the last three months mostly through the internet. I went into David Wheeler to make an appointment for my wife's Honda Odyessy. While there I bumped i last three months mostly through the internet. I went into David Wheeler to make an appointment for my wife's Honda Odyessy. While there I bumped into Greg Phillips a salesman I had known for a while. He asked if I was still looking for a vehicle? I was. I told him what I had been looking for was a hardtop/covertible. He advised they had just gotten one in and I should take a look. The vehicle was what I wanted. We test drove the vehicle and went back to the dealership. I advised at the time my wife had to see the vehicle before I would make a committment and we set up a time to come back. In the meantime he had taken my information for the paperwork. I located my wife sooner than the appt. and called Greg to advise we would be right back. He put a tag on the car again so my wife could take a ride. We came back did the paperwork, worked out a couple minor problems and agreed to pick up the vehicle in two hours. When we return Greg had had the car detailed, gassed and ready to go. John Ireland had all the paperwork ready and we were done in about thirty minutes. Both these gentlemen were as helpful and courteous as any could be. I would highly reccomend them to anyone in the area who was about to purchase a vehicle. The next day I had my wife's car serviced and the service in that dept. was also excellent. More
Having worked in the automotive field for many years, I always dread making a new car purchase. I started out my dealings with James McCrea, He was very professional on the Internet and phone.....Due to s always dread making a new car purchase. I started out my dealings with James McCrea, He was very professional on the Internet and phone.....Due to scheduling conflicts, James turned me over to Greg Phillips. Greg is a very easy going Sales Person. He and his Sales Manager Jill gave me some options I did not know I had.....I ended up leasing a car valued @ nearly ten thousand dollars more than the other car I was going to lease and I ended up with smaller payment than I intended to pay. Great job to the three of you.....I am not a real easy customer under pressure.....I received only enough pressure to help me make a buying decision. I have already referred one person to Greg and will be referring others....Thanks!! More
I purchased a '09 Honda CR-V today from Greg Phillips at David Wheeler Honda in Easton. This was the second stop on our shopping trip. My husband and I stopped at a Toyota dealer first and no one came out t David Wheeler Honda in Easton. This was the second stop on our shopping trip. My husband and I stopped at a Toyota dealer first and no one came out to speak to us at all. In fact, we were ignored by the only sales person on the lot so we moved on - right next door, well, a couple miles down the road. Greg was outside when we pulled up, broken foot and all, and spoke to us. His was very personable and friendly. We felt comfortable with him right away. He asked what we were looking for and led us to a couple vehicles that really weren't our thing. When I told him what I was currently driving he knew right away what I wanted. His manner when speaking with us, explaining all the particulars and other whatnots, was like talking with someone we'd known for years. Car shopping is always an ordeal, but our experience was surprisingly pleasant. I would recommend both Greg and the dealership to anyone. More
