We will never do business with Hertrich again - Hertrich broke my jeep and wanted almost $1000 to fix it - here’s how:  Dropped off my vehicle last week - they replaced the battery.  Things were still not 1 broke my jeep and wanted almost $1000 to fix it - here’s how:  Dropped off my vehicle last week - they replaced the battery.  Things were still not 100% after picking up my car, so I called the next day and made an appt to bring it in on Monday.  The technician performed a refreshing IPS software - then I was contacted to let me know that it completely wiped out my radio/dashboard and I will need to replace the Instrument Cluster for approx $872 because - I was 185 miles over my warranty. They stated multiple times that they performed the test to “Chrysler standards”.  They said once the cluster is ordered, I could not drive my Jeep and would need to leave it there until it was fixed - and that Clusters take approx 2 weeks to be delivered. I drove my Jeep home from the dealer, the radio was working fine but I did not have anything on my display, nor did my Speedometer or Tachometer work - how is this safe?? They said this was “normal” and there was nothing they could do until the radio cluster was repaired.  They recommended we go back to the original dealership for service. We then drove out-of-state back to the Jeep dealership where we originally purchased the vehicle and they performed the IPS software refresh again, and found nothing wrong.  The refresh was successful and The Jeep is now fixed.  We did not need to order or replace any parts and the original dealer saved us from spending an unnecessary $872.  More
