By the time I got out of my neighborhood, the gas light came on! I had over a half tank of gas when they picked it up. These people are a trip. If you go there make sure you check everything from the body to the engine because they won’t say anything about an issue if you don’t....it’s all and only about making a sale. More

MS.Bodie was very pleasant and did a great job for us while we looked at the vehicle we purchased. The truck could have been cleaned a bit better. We also were never informed when the next oil service i while we looked at the vehicle we purchased. The truck could have been cleaned a bit better. A few months ago I purchased a used 2014 mustang get convertible from Herlong Ford ... The car seems great, but the check engine light has came on three times since it was purchased ... The general manager is a crook,he is deceptive, misleading, and most of all everything that could have been wrong with my experience buying a car from Herlong Ford WAS...car was sold with so many p misleading, and most of all everything that could have been wrong with my experience buying a car from Herlong Ford WAS...car was sold with so many problems, it took 2most to get most it taken care of , the service manager, though, after meeting him and letting him know of my troubles he got most of the items done within another month or so, still waiting on 1 more fix, though.My advise Do Not buy a vehicle from Herlong Ford in Edgefield, Sc. Wish l could verbally explain all l went through. This is a very short version...BEWARE!!! More

F150 purchase The sale process was very slow, lots of waiting. Part of the sale included the purchase of a spray-on bedliner, trailer hitch and running boards to be The sale process was very slow, lots of waiting. Part of the sale included the purchase of a spray-on bedliner, trailer hitch and running boards to be installed the following week by a 3rd party vendor. The next week when I was trying to arrange the drop-off of my truck I learned that my salesman was on vacation and nobody knew what I was talking about. It was finally determined that there was a parts issue requiring rescheduling into the next week. The next week when I came to drop my truck off once again it was a surprise to almost everyone. It took forever to get a loaner and get on my way and the loaner had a low gas warning message. My truck was supposed to be ready for pickup the next day. When I called once again nobody knew anything about what was going on with my truck. As it turned out it wasn't ready for me to pickup until Friday afternoon after dropping it off on Monday. When I went to pick it up it did not have the 7 pin connector for my trailer connection- even though I had been called at home by the vendor to find out what I wanted for a connector. Nobody "owned" this whole process. The service folks kept telling me that they didn't have anything to do with it, that it was sales. There was no turnover for the guy going on vacation. Oh, social distancing and masks were not in evidence until the day I picked up my truck after the work was done and even then not very well. More
