I recently purchased a ram 3500 from herlong, within a few days of getting it home the abs light began coming on. I took it back to herlong and they worked diligently to get it fixed in my short time frame. Gabriel set me up a loaner truck so I could still get around. Alan in service explained it had to be sent to ram for the proper repair. He stayed on ram to ensure that I had my truck back within my time frame. They really went above and beyond to help get my truck right. After seeing how much Gabriel and Alan really cared about my needs an my satisfaction they have gained a customer for life. I have never had better service and care than these two provided. More

I had to pay my first payment and didn't buy this 2013 gt500 Herlong Ford about three moths ago and first of all my buying experience was horrible. I had to pay my first payment and didn't even have it yet. Hadn't even signed the paperwork. So long story short they put a new centerforce clutch in. As you can see in the picture they put 7 of the included bolts in the flywheel. 1 lonely stock bolt really. So the clutch plate starts to hit the bolt. My driveshaft adapter is stripped out. Can you say recipe for catastrophic failure. Not to mention dangerous. I have reached out and they don't want to answer my emails or my calls. I have drove the car a total of 2 weeks and only put 250 miles on it before it starts to tell me something is wrong. They don't want to make it right. Of you have a ford don't take it to Herlong Ford. This never should have been cleared to leave. More

At the Columbia dealers we experienced the typical High-Pressure sales tactics and nonsense plus some inaccuracies on the dealer's own websites regarding the vehicles we were there to possibly purchase. At Herlong we encountered a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Our salesman CJ made us feel at home and worked with us literally all day. He never once pressured us or tried to steer us in any certain direction. We test drove at least 7 vehicles of various types and never once felt like we were a bother or a burden. CJ and Herlong went above and beyond when it came to the vehicle we purchased, making sure that everything was in working order since we were purchasing a previously owned vehicle. He and the rest of the people at Herlong were happy to let us do what we needed to do to find the right vehicle for us. We actually felt good when we got home and the next day had no buyers remorse about the purchase, which is a rare thing, in our opinion. Would highly recommend anyone to buy from Herlong. They have earned our future business and so has CJ. More

Herlong Ford in Edgefield is a joke! My son purchased a 2016 GMC truck from them in April and he has had nothing but TROUBLE with the dealership since then. The 7th cylinder blew, the transmission blew out 2016 GMC truck from them in April and he has had nothing but TROUBLE with the dealership since then. The 7th cylinder blew, the transmission blew out and now they are having to replace the transmission yet again. As if that wasn't enough, the dealership is TERRIBLE with communication. They have currently had his truck for 3 weeks (tomorrow). We have repeatedly asked for a loaner (which is covered under warranty that we purchased) and we can't get anyone to reply. All we ask for is communication. Why is that so hard? It's been 8 months and the truck has been sitting at the dealership in the service department more than it has been driven. We would LOVE a return call with some answers. You have all of our phone numbers on file and, we have left MULTIPLE messages with the person answering the phone. More

I purchased a $70000 truck, 2018 ram, with 48000 miles that within 3 days the ABS light came on I take it back to them and they clear the code and tell me they can't get it to come back on to fix it. I picked the truck up from them and within a mile of leaving the dealership the light comes back on and they are telling me that they cannot service it because it is not a Ford and I need to take it to ram. More
