Over the time we've worked together we have built a strong relationship which continues to prove itself to be invaluable, especially as the vehicle continues to age. I was never a huge VW fan prior to my wife purchasing her car, but I can honestly say that I would strongly consider purchasing from this brand in the future in order to remain connected to the service that Timothy Provides. The Sales Team was wonderful when we purchased our vehicle. Herb and Mark were great. However, that is where the good service ended. I went in for a basic oil change and an Employee left a rag in my engine which in turn set my car on fire.The fire department had to be called and the fire chief pulled the burning rag out of my engine. Heritage Volkswagon Parkville did not want to take the blame...and the fire chief sent a personal report to them of his findings. Now Im having major problems with my vehicle and no one wants to help me. I am very upset about this matter and I would not recommend this dealer to anyone. More
WONDERFUL....WONDERFUL Service. I have been taking my car for regular oil changes & Yvonne ALWAYS greets me & knows who I am. She even remembered my new married name. She always goes above and beyond when it comes to great customer service. I may be able to get things a little cheaper somewhere else, but to me it's not worth it. Even today when every penny counts, I would take my car back to this dealership because of the customer service. I trust & believe their word & know they are not telling me to get services I don't need. I would rate the service @ 5 stars & would get my next car with them as well. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the service I receive from Yvonne & all the staff @ Heritage Volkswagen. They really do work for YOU & want to make you happy!!!! More
They're always friendly and do a great job with basic maintenance (like oil changes) - but don't really seem to know what's going on beyond that. Here's a small sampling of my experiences: - Took car maintenance (like oil changes) - but don't really seem to know what's going on beyond that. Here's a small sampling of my experiences: - Took car in to Heritage for 4 new struts. They replaced the front ($1,500) and forgot to do the rear. I didn't address it and took it somewhere else for the rear because I felt the $1500 was rather expensive. - Engine light came on and car overheated. Heritage said they weren't sure what was wrong but suggested I get a new radiator, a fan switch and some other things to the tune of $1,200. Picked up my car (after paying $80 for diagnosis) and took it to a dealer across town for a second opinion. The new dealership replaced a $30 thermostat, problem fixed. - Brought my car in to Heritage for a rattling noise and was told I needed new struts. Told them I just got new struts from them. They said it was probably the strut mounts, then, and would cost $1,200 to replace. Strut mounts are a $40 part that you typically replace when you replace your struts. In fact, the place where I got my rear struts replaced the mount. More

I worked mainly via email and Amy was responsive, knowledgable, and did not play the games that I encountered at other dealers. They did provide the best deal. My first service experience was flawless and Yvonne kept in constant contact and the car was ready when promised. No need to call and be put on hold, she called you and was focused on providing excellent service. The service folks listen to you and are upbeat. The latest experience was with the auto body shop. Kevin and the entire staff was very helpful and understanding. I got my rental right there and they called me each day to let me know the progress and it was ready at lunch on the day promised. Overall, Heritage is one of the few dealers who gets it - they know how to make owning a car from the dealership both convenient and fun ! More
When I pulled in the lot my sales rep was very attentive to my needs and what I wanted in a vehicle. He admired my skill to search for the vehicle of choice before coming to him on 8/22. One thing I did not receive upon request was my carfax and I still want it if it's made available to me. My 2006 Jetta TDI (90,000 miles) continues to run like brand new every time it comes out of scheduled maintenance service from their service department. I really appreciate the great work they are doing t brand new every time it comes out of scheduled maintenance service from their service department. I also bought my Jetta from this dealership and agree with all of the comments made by the other customers who rated this dealership as excellent. More
