I have been going back and forth because your service department has not able to Diagnose my car problem for a month. The first time, I needed to replace my car tire on the front driver’s side because I department has not able to Diagnose my car problem for a month. The first time, I needed to replace my car tire on the front driver’s side because I had a flat tire while driving in heavy snow on January. After that, vibrations are felt whenever I go above 60mph. I went back and ask them to check it one more time. The Service advisor said it’s because of the tire pressures of my car and they have fixed it. But still the vibrations are there after they said they fixed my tire pressures. I went back again and Alex, another service advisor said they need to change the rim because it’s bent and it’s causing the vibrations. I agreed and they changed it. But still, the vibrations were not fixed! So I went to Goodyear for inspection and they told me it’s because of the left wheel bearing. So I have made an appointment yesterday for a change in the wheel bearing of my car. I was asked to pay $738 for it. No breakdown was given so I thought it’s because of the price of the wheel bearing so I agreed to it but upon checking my invoice it was the labor fee that made it so expensive. The wheel bearing costs $174.75 and the labor fee is $508! That is ridiculous especially when I asked the reason why and they said it’s because it took them 3 hours to do it! When I specifically told them what is the problem and what needed to be replaced before dropping off my car in the dealership. More

Went in two weeks ago, was told part would be ordered and I'd be in and out, no problem. Two weeks later, not one single word, nor return calls. I would absolutely avoid not just this dealdership, service d I'd be in and out, no problem. Two weeks later, not one single word, nor return calls. Heritage, sold me a crappy car for my 17 year old daughter and not a month later it was back in the shop. Ever since then we have been having the same problems with it, it has been in the shop at lea daughter and not a month later it was back in the shop. Ever since then we have been having the same problems with it, it has been in the shop at least 4 times for the same thing. Now that my warranty expired all of a sudden the problems are not covered and it’s over $2500 even though the last time we were there was April 2022 . Basically he told my daughter it’s not his problem and sent her on her way. On top of that they lost the keys when she went to go and pick it up. Today she calls to let them know we’re having it towed to a real dealership and they didn’t even ask for her name. I will never do business with anyone there again! More
I am a big fan of Heritage Volkswagen Parkville: I bought my last 3 cars here and do all my service here, mainly because my super agent, Melissa, rocks! She is straight talking, knowledgeable, patient, and my last 3 cars here and do all my service here, mainly because my super agent, Melissa, rocks! She is straight talking, knowledgeable, patient, and always your advocate, well after the sale is done. She never pressured me (and I took months to decide the model and specs for my current Tiguan). She also ensures that Heritage’s Service team was able to take care of a sunroof (recall) issue as quickly and painlessly as possible. I appreciate having such a responsive team to work with, and to have Melissa on my side. If you are looking for a place to buy and service your VW, there is no better place than this, and I can’t recommend Melissa strongly enough. More
I wrote a bad review after a service rep used my service plan to “pay” for a broken sensor that was covered under warranty and then ended up costing me a yearly service. After leaving a review, I was contac plan to “pay” for a broken sensor that was covered under warranty and then ended up costing me a yearly service. After leaving a review, I was contacted by the service manager the same day to fix the situation. Dan was helpful, courteous and patient. Great service and follow up. More
Get everything in writing! When my oil sensor was faulty, the service representative used my 2-year check up on the maintained plan to “pay” for the fix. When I came back to do my actual 2-year service, I wa the service representative used my 2-year check up on the maintained plan to “pay” for the fix. When I came back to do my actual 2-year service, I was told it was already completed. The time between the 1 and 2 year was less than six months so clearly it was used incorrectly. The new service rep told me “not to worry, we will take care of you and get the next oil change for free.” When I came in for that oils change - the new rep told me that there is no note and that I had to use my 4 year change on the service plan. It is VERY clear that it was their mistake, yet I am now paying for it. Be careful - they do not honor their promises. More
Bought a remote starter to be put in My 2021 Tiguan. They gave me an appointment two weeks out. Took off work and arranged transportation to get back home when I dropped it off. When I arrived on time for my gave me an appointment two weeks out. Took off work and arranged transportation to get back home when I dropped it off. When I arrived on time for my appointment one service rep greeted me checked me in but told me I needed to wait because Tyrone made my appointment and he was on the phone. So we waited and waited then there was an awkward silence for awhile. Tyrone was on hold. He asked Tyrone if he was on hold and Tyrone put his finger up signaling us to wait. Well when he finally got off the phone he informed me that they couldn’t work on my car today. Because they were to backed up. So I asked why someone didn’t call and give me a heads up he rudely replied I just found out so how could I have called you. So no regard for time wasted and my significant others time wasted as she took add work as well to help me with this appointment. So don’t go here if you want dependable customer service. They are unreliable!!!! And kind of rude. More
Driving around for 8 months with a faulty air bag in my BRAND NEW VW Atlas Cross Sport. In December 2020 we took our vw in because the airbag error light came on. The service center cleared out the erro BRAND NEW VW Atlas Cross Sport. In December 2020 we took our vw in because the airbag error light came on. The service center cleared out the error message and informed me that if it happened again they would replace the lamp. A few months later we noticed that the Bluetooth in the car stopped working with a few other electrical issues. We made an appointment to get the car looked at. We arrived at our appointment on a Saturday and immediately upon arrival the tech told me that it couldn't be worked, but knew the issue was related to the car net module and they keep them on hand so to come back later that week to get it replaced. We arrived at our appointment and after having the vehicle there for the entire day they let us know something we already knew (it needed a carnet module). So I was a bit upset that after wasting two days at the dealer for a part was just being ordered after knowing the issue on my first visit. After speaking with the service manager he admitted it was his fault that he didn't check my Saturday appointment and should have called me to let me know that they couldn't perform the work on a Saturday. Unfortunately he had no excuse for not ordering the part. After the THIRD visit to the dealership the part was finally fixed. End of the story right ? No. A month after replacing the carnet module the airbag error light came on again. So I made another appointment explaining the situation (even have paperwork from December stating they would replaced the bulb if it had the same error again). After leaving the car at the dealer for another day I picked the car up and the informed me that because it had been almost 5 months they simply cleared the error message again and didn't fix anything. Even though it was documented that they would replace the bulb. I was again befuddled that the issue was document along with the fix and nothing was done. TWO DAYS LATER the airbag light came on again. So I made an appointment with the service department AGAIN the advisor ENSURED ME that this issue would be resolved when I picked my vehicle up. The next day when I was picking the car up at the end of the day the advisor let me know that they JUST NOW ordered the part. I was infuriated. The Dan McMahon has lied to me MULTIPLE TIMES at one point telling me the error light was on because of my cell phone on the seat to even saying after 3 visits they were unsure of what part they needed to ordered after it was documented from December. He had the audacity to ask me why every time I pick my car up I end up in his office. Perhaps because I've been to the dealership 7 times to fix 2 issues and only one has been resolved. After this discussion the manager THREW a pair of loaner keys across the desk at me. Keep in mind this is an issue of safety. I should not be driving around for MONTHS with a faulty air bag. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional behavior. After this experience I wouldn't recommend anyone purchase a vehicle or have it serviced at this location. More
