This was only my 3rd car purchase since the age of 19; almost two decades ago. My mother and I went to this dealership to test drive a 2009 VW Passat I saw online and to get a free $25 gift card before 1 almost two decades ago. I had other plans to visit one of their competitors afterwards (Cooks VW) to test drive a used VW CC and a Toyota Prius. Randall (sales person) was friendly, warm, and professional from the onset and allowed us to test drive the vehicle. When I told him of my plans to visit another dealership, he arranged for a test drive of the VW CC - a (used) demo being driven by another Heritage team member. No test drive was needed (I sat in the car and realized it wasn’t for me) because I fell in love with the Candy White Passat. Still determined to go to their competition, the dealership manager came in and easily (and jokingly) talked me into filling out a credit application and was determined that Heritage could give me a better deal. I was very hesitant as I knew I had some challenges on my credit report and that I would probably need a down payment. They worked hard and got me approved at a monthly rate I could afford with no money down. This is by far the very best dealership and the very best salesperson (and auto sales staff) I have ever dealt with. Even the finance manager was great and offered some free, non-endorsed advice on improving my credit score. I even called Randall two days later and he arranged for new windshield wipers (at no charge) to be placed on the vehicle since the original wipers seemed worn. He talked to the service manager for me before I arrived and I came in at 1pm on Tuesday and the service manager finished within 10 minutes. I highly recommend Mile One Heritage VW and Randall!!! P.S. Their customer service is phenomenal which is very important to me. They even emailed and called me prior to my arrival based on my initial online inquiry about the vehicle. More
This is only the second car I've purchased by I've looked at quite a few. I felt so comfortable working with Karen and the rest of the VW family. The treated me so well and I felt as though they were a very at quite a few. I felt so comfortable working with Karen and the rest of the VW family. They were not trying to throw in any unnecessary bells or whistle (i.e. buy this car get a free cell phone etc.) to cover up the poor quality of the car. When I am ready for a new car in the future, I will certainly be back! More
I WENT TO THE DEALERSHIP PREPARED TO PURCHASE A NEW 2010 JETTA TDI WITH A TRADE IF THE DEAL WAS RIGHT. WAS MET BY SALESMAN BILL STICKLINE, TOLD HIM WE CURRENTLY OWN 4 TDI'S 2003 JETTA (TRADE), 2004 PASSAT JETTA TDI WITH A TRADE IF THE DEAL WAS RIGHT. WAS MET BY SALESMAN BILL STICKLINE, TOLD HIM WE CURRENTLY OWN 4 TDI'S 2003 JETTA (TRADE), 2004 PASSAT WAGON, 2006 JETTA, 2009 JETTA, AND WAS LOOKING FOR A JETTA WITHOUT A SUNROOF (BECAUSE OF EXPENSE, NOISE & THEY LEAK). BILL CHECKED HIS INVENTORY REMEMBERING HE HAD HIDDEN SUCH A VEHICLE ON THE STORAGE LOT. NEW CAR PRICE WAS GOOD, TRADE MET THE KELLY BLUE BOOK TRADE, AND THE VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED VIRTUALLY SIGHT UNSEEN. BILL KNEW THE VEHICLE FEATURES BETTER THAN I KNOW MY OWN VEHICLES, EVEN THE RADIO FUNCTIONS AND BLUETOOTH. FOR A 82 YEAR, YOUNG SALESMAN, I WAS IMPRESSED WITH HIS SPUNK, AND CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. THE ONLY HITCH IN THE DEAL WAS HAVING TO WAIT FOR THE PROCESSING MANAGER, WHO WAS WORKING BETWEEN SEVERAL DEALERSHIP. MR. STICKLINE SPEAKS HIGHLY OF THE ORGANIZATION HE WORKS FOR, AND THE CAR MAKER AS HE ALSO OWNS A JETTA,. THE ORGANIZATION IS VERY LUCKY TO HAVE SUCH A LOYAL AND COMMITED EMPLOYEE. I DEFINITELY PLAN TO SHARE MY EXPERIENCE WITH FRIENDS AND ACQUAINTANCES. THANKS TO SALES MANAGER, MS. JOYCE, FOR BROKERING THE DEAL, AND KUDOS TO VOLKSWAGEN OF AMERICA FOR REAFFIRMING MY FAITH IN THEIR PRODUCTS-COVERING AN EXHAUST PROBLEM, $1000.00 REPAIR ON MY 2006 JETTA. Had a few issues throughout the buying process. Management team had to step in to "fix" the issues. Should never have run into any of those issues but the management team handled it well. After calling several dealerships and getting the run around and being told they couldn't find what we were looking for or it was a long shot, i ran into Heritage and got on the phone with Mark Hughes, h around and being told they couldn't find what we were looking for or it was a long shot, i ran into Heritage and got on the phone with Mark Hughes, he helped me out and put me in touch with the sales manager Karen Joyce, who was extremely friendly and down to earth. She helped locate my vehicle in another state then had it delivered right to my door. Never once said can't do it, or it's a long shot. She did the footwork and found the vehicle and made this experience a good one for me. My car was delivered by Avery Stewart who drove quite some distance to bring me the car and he was very nice and helpful as well. After the paperwork was finished he went over all the small details about the car hands-on and made sure i understood how things worked. He was very friendly and even though he had my deal ready when I arrived there, I decided to change my mind which meant he had to start all over with a new deal. He had no problem with any of the changes I had made. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone interested in purchasing a new or used vehicle even if you have less than perfect or shall I say ppoor credit. They give you an opportunity to restablish your credit and the guy whos name I forgot, works in financing even gave me tips on how to rebuild my credit outside of the car. I am very pleased with this dealership and with my new car. More
