Then the headlight went out 3 days later. I was a little upset but once told that this was covered under my warranty, all was good. I got my car back last night and the paint chips were covered so well that there was no sign anything was ever there. However, on the top of my trunk, it seems as though they forgot to shine it after it was buffed or however that works. It's not that noticeable, but it could have been better. My sales experience was excellent though! More

Avery lied to my face more times than I can count. Do not trust this dealership! There were some cosmetic fixes, both inside and outside, that were promised to be taken care of for free if the car was p not trust this dealership! Avery told me that the vehicle, a 2009 EOS, would look brand new after it got out of their body shop. I purchased the car, they were to deliver it to me within one week. It was delivered and the fixes, especially the paint, looked like were done with spray paint. I sent the car back to the dealership. They tried again and it looked as if an attempt was not made. I had to get VW corporate involved and they took care of everything in a timely manner. Regardless, it took almost 3 weeks for everything to occur and lots of frustration. Avery initially told me if I was not happy after the repairs were made, then he would cancel the purchase and give me my trade back. After I requested this to Avery and the sales manager, they refused and stated the car went to auction. Meanwhile, I drove to the dealership and it was sitting on their lot for sale. It was also on their website for sale. Unbelievable! I suppose this is the reason CarMax and no haggle type dealerships exist and will probably force these 'old school', dealerships to change. Another lesson learned; no matter how great the deal is, do not accept it unless you're completely satisfied with the vehicle. It's really difficult to trust people and, to a fault, I'm too trustworthy! More

I purchased this car via the Consumer Reports buying service. I do believe I got a good price on the car, and for my trade, but the process felt like a bait and switch. Most of the negotiating took place over the phone and by email. When I came in, Isaiah, after conferring with Roman, told me he even got me an additional $250 Auto Show rebate in addition to the $500 rebate offered by Heritage. But when he came back with his final offer, the rebates were not reflected in the price. When I asked about that, I was told by Roman, who came in to explain the numbers, that the price he gave to Isaiah was the price. So, either Roman didn't communicate to Isaiah that the rebates were factored in when he gave him the price, or Isaiah either forgot or purposefully didn't give me that information. In any case, the price turned out not to be the price, because a $199 dealer prep was added back on to the final price of the car. I was not happy with this process, and was going to go to another dealer, but Isaiah knocked off the dealer prep charges. Last night, after I noticed that my license plates were both installed crooked, which I fixed myself, I got a call from Isaiah telling me he couldn't find the title to my trade that I had signed, and wanted me to go to the MVA and get a duplicate title, and bring it in to Heritage. This didn't seem like my problem, but I was willing to help. As it turned out, Isaiah found a form that could be used and came to my home this morning for my signature. All in all, while I am happy with the car and the price, I remain generally unhappy with the buying process and the professionalism of Heritage. More
