May family placed a $500 refundable deposit to order a new car and was ready to trade our car. On the day of the transaction, the agent did not tell us anything about the refundable deposit and we forgot new car and was ready to trade our car. On the day of the transaction, the agent did not tell us anything about the refundable deposit and we forgot to ask about it. As we were about to pay the difference for the new car, the finance manager said he was willing to discount the Auto Armor to $300 further from $800 (Though Toyota is now saying that there was no way they could discount the value for Auto Armor to $300 that cost $1499). We were willing to purchased this care plan only on the condition that he was willing to offer it at $300. My family signed the paper trusting his words. Otherwise, we were not interested in this addition nor were we willing to buy a plan with higher cost. We only trusted their assurance of a generous discount to $300. I could not imagine that the dealer was going to be so trickster in getting us signed for $800 for plan and had put $500 as an addition to the cash value of my car to make it look like they had applied my deposit towards the purchase. The dealer has so far denied my family the refund we were supposed to get. Additionally, the following was our collective experience at this dealership: 1. A sign appeared somewhere in the middle right and the dealer has not answered us who signed the contract beside family's sign as a buyer at the bottom. The contract was certainly going to be void but my family decided to abandoned the legal procedure even though the dealer was not in position to apologize for their fraud. But instead, they have pointed their fraud to misunderstand with the buyer. 2. No business integrity, transparency, and accountabilities on managerial level for all the lies/frauds committed by their staffs/employees. 3. Some five-star ratings and reviews are too good to be written by customers themselves. 4. My family had to delete a review (not posted by us in our name) the moment we realized that this dealership had tricked us with different Auto Armor value. 5. The store manager, Wendell Fletcher proved to my family that he aids in perpetuating scammers. At least, he made it crystal clear in our case. 6. In my family's visit before meeting with the store manager, they had spoken with the agent and Mr. Robert B. In that meeting, they showed my family a printout showing the deposit value being adjusted to Auto Armor to bring it value from $800 down to $300. Other than the thumb drive, the dealers did not give my family the copies of different transactions signed even when requested. 7. The sales agent had no idea where the deposit was applied or if it had to be returned to me. Anyone eager to buy a car from this dealer, be aware- don’t be fooled by their misleading assurance or discount. More
