We had multiple emails and text messages with Richard as we were driving a long distance for this particular car. He was provided all our information ahead of time to prepare paperwork and given a $500 dep we were driving a long distance for this particular car. We told him when we were arriving and he said he would not be there, but to ask for Stacy, he would be expecting us and have everything ready. When arrived Stacy was no where to be found, we were passed off to someone else, the car was not ready (empty tank of gas, not cleaned), no paperwork prepared. We arrived at 7pm expecting the process to take an hour since we had driven 2 hours with two young children and made it very clear what we wanted and asked for as much as possible to be done ahead of time so we could do this quickly. We didn't get back home till after 11 pm. When we received a follow up call from Richard asking how our experience was, I explained our disappointment and his response was "I followed the procedure". Clearly something failed in the procedure and no offer to follow up, look into it or find out who dropped the ball. He then had the nerve to ask that we rate him all 5's. I told him we would not since he didn't follow up on his end as we had discussed and he got very short on the phone. This was an easy sale as it was the exact car we wanted (to replace an identical one that had been totaled in an accident). We were purchasing this car sight unseen and asked for some considerations due to the long drive and dragging along the kids. If we lived in the area, we wouldn't use this dealership again. The only reason we purchased from them is that they had the car we wanted at a price that was close to the insurance pay out from the accident. More
