After checking off everything that needed to be prepared, organized and packed for a 10-day drive/vacation to Maine, we backed out of our garage in the 6:30 am darkness in early October to realize the left h organized and packed for a 10-day drive/vacation to Maine, we backed out of our garage in the 6:30 am darkness in early October to realize the left headlight on our 2005 Corolla was out. Fearing a violation and a time-consuming search in New England for the bulb, our vacation was off to a brutal start before we left the driveway. We didn't think Freedom Toyota would be open but -- knowing the excellent service we've always received there -- we pulled into the lot. Dan Ward, Assistant Service Manager, was there early, and -- despite the service garage and parts department not yet open -- he managed to obtain the bulb...and install it himself. It certainly disrupted the beginning of his day, but you'd never know by his incredibly professional demeanor and friendly personality. Dan Ward, and Freedom Toyota, provided an excellent omen to what turned out to be a GREAT vacation. We'll always remember how it stared...without delay or worry...thanks to Dan. Freedom Toyota is lucky to have him. We'll always be indebted. More

I was sold my 2011 Toyota Tacoma at the end of August during a promotion of 4000 above blue book, the truck I bought was not on the lot. I put 2,000 down the day of the sale and was told that I would most likely have my truck by Monday of the following week, "Maybe Sooner". I was not kept informed on the progress of the aquisition of the vehicle over the next almost 3 weeks unless I made an effort to call and check on the vehicle, then I got "Maybe tomorrow" or "No one knows where the vehicle is", and finally after expressing my concern over the length of time it was taking to get the vehicle I got a "The port is not releasing any vehicles" whatever that means. I drove the vehicle "which I love" for about 200 miles with no problem, then started to notice a vibration in the engine, and that the engine noise was considerably noticeable. I called to talk to the salesperson and he told me that he would be glad to help and that I should call service and bring it by. I would have thought that this would be a priority after a new sale, but I am just a customer !!! I tried to call the number on the web sight for service and got an answering machine that I could leave a message at, then tried a different number for sales on the web site and got the same message and the same machine. I finally went to an independent google searce to get the actual dealer number, and when I called was routed by the girl at the service reception phone, to.............take a guess.......another answering machine upon which I could leave a message. I called the service receptionist back and became a little short with her indicating that I would like to talk with an actual person, and explained the nature of my problem, at which time I was connected with an actual person that could schedule my appointment for three days from now. I had to ask to be supplied a loaner car, I have to make time in my schedule to drop off the car and leave it at the dealer so they wont be inconveinienced and will be able to squeeze it in, I mean it is warrenty work, and is probobly nothing anyway.....................So far in my experience with Freedom Toyota on a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate them a -5............ I can't begin to tell you how extremely pleased I am with this dealership. I took my car there for service. Dan Ward is an AWESOME man ! Dan Ward, Service Advisor, has always gone above the bar in all the aspects of customer service at this dealerships service department. outstanding. He is always congenial, he greets his customers with a smile and welcoming handshake. Whether it's just routine maintenance or warranty work, he goes the extra mile to provide an excellent level of customer support. He explains all the details of what service will be provided, he provides follow-up, feedback, and status, of the work in progress. He has been able to provide prompt service while I'm waiting and additionally he has been able to provide transportation support or arrange for a loaner car when a longer time is needed to service my vehicle. I have become "one happy customer" at Freedom Toyota, and I have been happy to recommend Freedom Toyota to my friends and family. My son has also purchased a vehicle and is equally as pleased as I am with his purchase and the excellent service he continues to receive at Freedom Toyota. Last year my boyfriend took his sons Tacoma truck down for an inspection and he came home with a 2005 Matrix for me to look at to see if I liked it. We ended up going back to maybe buy it and ended up wit for an inspection and he came home with a 2005 Matrix for me to look at to see if I liked it. We ended up going back to maybe buy it and ended up with a brand new Matrix (2009!) that they had just put in the parking lot! Then a year later when he was again taking his sons truck down for inspection and oil change,he ended up getting a brand new Tacoma truck for himself! And when I saw it and drove it myself I wanted a brand new car too. So then we were taking my car down for it's first oil change, we looked at the Rav 4 and ended up getting it. Don't get me wrong, I loved my car but I felt it would be very good for me to have 4 wheel drive, and it looked just like my car only bigger! So we feel from the sales people clear up to financing everyone was great and still are. We just took both vehicles in for plan A. Everyone did an excellent job! I bought my Town and Country @ Freedom and I, also, frequent this dealer for service. I am on the road just about everyday for my job, and I rack up mileage very quickly. While I know Freedom is very busy with service customers, Dan ALWAYS makes sure he gets me in the schedule (even on last minute notice) so that I can resume my daily travel responsibilities. He has provided top notch service to me. I keep going back to Freedom because of the following reasons: Convenience; Kindness & Respect; Fair Pricing; and, most importantly, Honesty and Trustworthiness. I have a family and a demanding work schedule... so I HAVE to rely on my vehicle to SAFELY get me where I need to be. I know very little to nothing about fixing a car; So,I need to trust that the dealer I choose to work on my car is making sure it gets the proper attention needed and that they fix any and all problems efficiently and effectively. Freedom has earned my respect through Dan Ward and the whole Service Team (including the courtesty drivers, detail guys, and the help desk). If Freedom keeps giving me the best service, I will keep coming back for more... including buying more cars there! More
